Level Up Tattoo Studio Great Falls

Level Up Tattoo is by far the best tattoo shop in Great Falls, and most likely MT. Pablo the main tattoo artist is very humble. He has a wall of awards, and is featured in many tattoo magazines for his excellent work, but never brags or boasts. The art work and tattoos Pablo does is phenomenal. He has surprised me many times; you give him a broad idea of what you want and he expands that idea and transforms it into something breath taking. The shop itself is very clean, sterile and presentable. All the needles and equipment are opened and set up in front of you so you know that they are brand new. Donna the manager makes you feel at home and very welcome while you're there at the shop. Everyone at the shop will talk to you and get to know you, you are not just a body to tattoo, you are their friend. I personally have spent countless hours there, laughing, making jokes, getting tattoo'd and just hanging out and I plan to spend countless more.

I got a half sleeve done from Pablo and am very happy with the final result. The quality is amazing and the process was enjoyable. He was not heavy handed at all and has extreme attention to detail. I will definitely be getting my sleeve finished with him.

Best tattoo experience, and absolutely incredible work. Derrick brought my tattoo to life, and his colors are freaking unreal. Donna is the sweetest, and the whole experience was great. Trust me when I say make your appointment!

Myself and my wife have had several pieces done by Derick over the last several years. I will admit we have had to be rescheduled once before but on the other hand when my family had a emergency and we had to cancel an appointment they were nothing but understanding and polite with us. It may seem like their appointments are scheduled further out than most but trust me when I say the wait is only a small price to pay for what you receive from this shop. Most recently we approached Donna with a idea for a memorial tattoo in honor of my father. She paired me with Derick and I will admit I gave him a very vague idea and he knocked it out of the park. I recommend Level Up to everyone who wants a piece of art that they will always be proud of.

Level Up Tattoo Studio is the gold standard. I could not be happier with my experience getting my first tattoo! Brandon wowed me right out of the gate with his design. They listened to everything I wanted and the result is a piece that is so “me.” Their professionalism, cleanliness and passion for the art is a gift to our community. I could not imagine getting tattooed anywhere else.

I’ve had multiple tattoos by level up. They are professional, super clean & most importantly their work is brilliant. I’ve since moved 2,000 miles away & would travel back solely to receive another tattoo from level up. 5 stars isn’t enough.

Derek is absolutely incredible!!! Did so great at making my idea come to life but adding his own touch to be so unique! Donna also bomb at working with mine, my moms and my three sister schedule in order for us all to get tattooed in the same day!! Yes they are booked out a little ways but clearly that means their work is worth the wait!!

Looks like amazing tattoos, but I'm sharing the same sentiment as the other 1 star reviewers. It seems like they're still lacking in communication and trying to just get an appointment is the biggest hurdle. I've been trying for months to get a tattoo here and keep getting told that the manager will get ahold of Pablo "by tomorrow," or "later today." I understand if it's busy, that's life. Though almost 3 whole months of this back and forth?

Will take my business elsewhere.

I am not one to leave bad reviews, but this may have been the most unprofessional experience I’ve ever had with a business. I was completely stood up for my appointment; I waited outside the tattoo shop for an hour. I even confirmed said appointment two days prior, as they had already canceled my previous appointment the day before (via Instagram DM). There was zero communication made on the end of the tattoo shop. When I called multiple times, I was sent straight to voicemail. I finally got a Facebook message response stating that they “tried to text” an hour before my appointment to cancel (surprise, I never got a text). I hired a babysitter, drove over an hour to Great Falls, and paid a deposit for my tattoo. So disappointing! I hope I can save someone else the same trouble by leaving this review. I will say, however, I was given my deposit back and compensated for my fuel, so at least there’s that.

I absolutely love Level up! I've gotten all of my tattoos by either Derek or Pablo. I wouldn't trust anyone else in Great Falls and most likely Montana. Their always professional and make you feel comfortable while getting tattooed. Their art work is absolutely jaw dropping I've never been disappointed with any of the art I've got done, and the art I've seen them do on others is more then extraordinary. If you want a good quality tattoo, in a clean and professional atmosphere, with artists that truly care about you and the work they put on you, Then go to level up.
