Level Up Tattoo Studio Great Falls

This place is the perfect epitome of how a business should not be run. The model and their so-called “mission” on treating their customers in a special way is nothing but a fluff. While I cannot comment how good the artistry is, I am going to have to agree with the comments made below with the attitude of cancelations appointments. Tattoo appointments do not come easily available so when you wait for a month for your appointment, brace yourself for your appointment to get canceled last minute on the same day. Then, brace yourself for the low standards of communication. I wasn’t even given a reschedule option at the soonest - they wanted to know if I had time in the upcoming weeks… to probably reschedule again. What’s more is I never received a proof or heard from the artist about what they worked day prior my appointment so I don’t even know if he actually had a draft worked on my piece I wanted. On top of all of this unprofessional attitude, I had to chase them for my deposit for a week - the person who “runs” the business agreed to pay my deposit back, and when I checked on it after 3 days, they claimed they didn’t have my preferred method of payment which they had initially said “sure” and not communicate this timely. Then I had to chase them every day. They would say I’ll pay tomorrow and still not pay it. I had to have a whole rant to get my money back and all of this happened for $100. They were out of town, and they had to go to the bank, they had no service etc. Bottom of the story: it doesn’t matter how your artistry is, but if you cannot manage a business with honesty and dignity and respect of the time of your client - it means nothing. I suggest you are better off finding another studio where you can be treated professionally. Oh, and their phone number advertised on the front of their studio doesn’t work so you can’t actually communicate other than messaging them. So go get a tattoo somewhere else if you don’t want inconvenience. Peace ✌🏽

I came into Level Up with nothing but a dream and an idea. Pablo was able to take words on paper and turn them into a vision. I wanted a woman (Virgo) for my oldest, a lion (leo) for my second and symbolism for Sagittarius for my two youngest. For aftercare, they made themselves available. Overall a tremendous experience, and I'm looking forward to Picasso helping me get my ideas on skin.

Tattoo is insane! Can't express how pleased I am with this artist (Pablo). Probably the best black and grey realism artist in town. Will definitely be back for more ink.

The studio was very neat and I felt like my appointment was the most important thing for the day so I would say their commitment to the customer is top notch! The art that Derrick did was outstanding and I can honestly say it is the best tattoo I have. I hope to get many more from here!

Recently got a tattoo done at Level Up and am nothing but happy with the entire experience from start to finish. Donna was helpful and knowledgeable prior to the tattoo appointment, ensuring we were aware of policies and the protocol that goes into design, placement, etc. She really took the time to give individualized interaction, which I appreciate. Pablo did the tattoo, and it is absolutely gorgeous. The art was well worth the time and well worth the price. I appreciate the level of skill, professionalism, cleanliness, and just sheer love of what they are doing. I will definitely be back - sooner than later. My daughters and I are so happy with our tattoos! Derrick did an amazing job! This was our first time going to Level Up and it was my daughters first time getting a tattoo. The studio is so nice and clean. I am definitely going back to Derick for my next tattoo!

I was super excited to get my work done from this place. I had my first appointment all scheduled for Jan 22nd. I paid the $200 deposit in which they asked me to pay. I’m also 2 hours outside of Great Falls, so I was always going to be freeing up my own days just to travel out of town for the tattoo. Then the 22nd arrives, they tell me only a few hours before my appointment that it had to be rescheduled due to covid exposure, which is VERY understandable. We agreed to a new date, which was the 29th! But I myself had to move the appointment again due to a family emergency, so I asked, we moved to the 5th of Feb. The 5th is here, and yet again, I get told only hours before my appointment that it has to get moved again, which the reason was never disclosed other than just saying they had an issue come up, never clarifying what the said “issue” was. At that point, I am feeling a little iffy moving forward, but I just loved their work so much I didn’t wanna give it up JUST yet. So we agree to Friday, the 11th of Feb. And of course, the 11th is here, which I ended up taking work off so I could travel the couple hours to great falls for my appointment, and yet AGAIN, they are telling me only hours before my appointment that it has to be moved. So at that point i just became totally done, and (nicely) asked for my money back from the deposit I put in. Just disappointed because their work is so very nice, but they do have problems with moving appointments, so keep that in mind if you do decide to book with them! But they did refund me in a reasonable time also.

If you are looking for a skilled, amazingly talented, professional tattoo artist with a comfortable, hygienic office space, Level Up in Great Falls is your best possible choice. I have personally received tattoos from both Pablo, Derrick and Brandon over the last several years. Office Manager, Donna, is excellent at her job and will help you get scheduled and will answer any questions you may have. This is a beautiful group of people! Each visit was a pleasant experience, with the utmost care taken to give you an original piece of art for you to enjoy for a lifetime.

Had a tattoo done by Derrick years ago and the experience was great, had another scheduled recently and the experience was a joke. Had the appointment scheduled and deposit paid. Fast forward to the night before my appointment, they message and cancel. Not a huge deal besides changing work plans to make it work. Rescheduled to the next week and again, cancelled the night before. My appointment has been canceled a total of 4 times. Strongly recommend keeping their history of cancellations in mind before booking any work to be done.
