Derick was very kind, did an amazing job on my forearm tattoo. Very clean and calming atmosphere! Derick was so awesome when he finished the tattoo I stood up to quick or something and passed out on the floor and he took great care of me and made me not feel bad for that happening. I have a total of 6 tattoos and Derick did 4 of them! He’s the only one I trust. Recommend him 😁

I am writing this review because frankly I am so embarrassed that I recommended this place to my friend. Pablo did a really great piece that was supposed to be the start of his sleeve over a year ago. What started as a promising experience has turned into a huge disappointment costing my friend (who lives out of town) countless missed shifts and money to board his dog. I’m not exaggerating but they have cancelled his appointments with barely any notice more than 10 times throughout the last year. The lack of respect and basic customer service is truly astonishing. He has been nothing but understanding and accommodating with the variety of excuses he’s been given because he is such a good person. However, I can’t help but feel horrible for recommending such an unprofessional place. I honestly wonder if it is some sort of scam after I have read more reviews that explain the same experience.

I have been putting off leaving this review; to the point that I’ve lost sleep over what to do. I’ve been trying to receive a tattoo from Pablo since January. I’m beginning to wonder if he is a figment of my imagination. The sad thing is I haven’t been able to deal with him, so I can’t place blame upon him. I’ve driven over 400 miles for scheduled appointments. The first one, Pablo was sick. There was an apology, and I was told I’d receive my tattoo for half price. The second appointment, he was double booked, and I had to reschedule again. I was told my tattoo would be free. My most recent appointment was to be on the 17th of April. I messaged before driving the 260 mile round trip to find out that my appointment would not be happening yet once again. I have been given the opportunity to receive a free tattoo, but I decided to ask for a refund for my deposit. I was told I’d receive my deposit today, but have not. It has been such a disappointment dealing with this business, and I’m mentally exhausted.

so unprofessional. had an appointment set on july 9th, was cancelled the day before the appointment for 3 weeks from the initial date. once again, rescheduled the day before the appointment. rescheduled for a week later, just to be cancelled again the day of the third rescheduled appointment. rescheduled it one last time because we were told the tattoos would be free, just to be cancelled the day of the appointment again, all for different reasons, all the while derrick is tattooing other people but putting our tattoos off? they do great work but are terribly unprofessional and care little to none about their customers.

I just got my 4th Tattoo with Level Up! Where do I start?!? The atmosphere is extremely classy & clean, the artists are top notch and even my most complicated idea for my latest tattoo was brilliantly composed and it captured everything & more that I expected and desired! Donna is fantastic and was able to work around my hectic schedule and is always so welcoming! I’ve had tattoos done by both Pablo & Derick and both of them have knocked it out of the park. If you want an actual piece of art that you will enjoy for the rest of your life go to Level Up!

I had booked a full day tattoo a few months in advance with a deposit to hold my place and everything. I was told to come in the week before to check on the design that they had. They told me not to come. So I was already a little suspicious about the interaction. Came upon the day of my appointment. They canceled the appointment same day with no warning and no reason why besides "unforeseen circumstances". At that point I rescheduled the appointment for the following weekend and asked to see the designs that they had been working on. Then I got a week of radio silence. After waiting I asked 2 more times to see what they had been working on and was told that "they'd ask Derrick again". Came upon the day of my appointment. Another cancelation the day of with no reason given other that "unforeseen circumstances". At this point im not even sure that they began work on even the foggiest concept of the design. So I asked for my deposit back and they told me it would be back to me by friday. Friday comes and no money, it got "Held up on her end". The work that the artists do at the shop is phenomenal but this is not a professional shop. They have no respect for the time and money of their customers. This was an extremely disappointing experience especially considering I was trying to give them the most money they could make in a day by doing a full day appointment. Do not recommend this shop based solely on the unprofessional booking experience.

Best place in town hands down. The friendly staff, talent, and cleanliness is what sets this shop apart from the other places nearby!
I’ve gotten a couple of tattoos from Derick and he always exceeds my expectations every time. Derick is very talented, detail oriented, and makes sure that you are comfortable. You can tell how much passion goes into his work and that’s what makes this place and his work phenomenal.

Level Up is the #1 tattoo shop. Level Up is a professional business that is extremely clean, well organized, comfortable and has great service. I’ve gotten many tattoos done at Level Up by Derek and his work is detailed and beautiful. Even after several years, my ink looks fresh. He pulls straight lines, saturation, detailed, and is wonderful in both black and gray tattoos and color. Although the tattoos are painful, Derek’s work keeps me wanting more. Pablo is also an amazing artist. I have not received a tattoo by him yet because his schedule is full for a long period of time since his work is amazing. I’ve watched him tattoo other customers and he gives great service as well. Definitely consider Level Up for your next tattoo.

I've received tattoos from both Pablo and Derick. Everyone is so professional and everything is clean, it sets your mind at ease. I wouldn't go anywhere else. The entire process is smooth and their work is that of true professional artists. I look forward to coming back in the near future!

So like many others, I had an appointment for just a brief consult I scheduled and traveled to great falls for from over 100 miles away. Supposed to be at 2pm. At nearly 2 I was asked if I could come at 3:30 as they were behind. An hour later I was told he they couldn't get time to chat with me today and could I come back tomorrow. Obvious answer after reading similar reviews is guess I won't be coming back EVER. Gas alone for 2 trips both ways equaling nearly 500 miles with a few meals along that way is not acceptable.
