We took our daughter to get her nose pierced and she was a little nervous, even when she was begging for it. I must say the people there were very friendly and didn't make us feel awkward like other places when you first walk in. The person who pierced my daughters nose was super friendly and made sure my daughter felt comfortable. I recommend this place 👌 She hasn't had a problem with her piercing. Nice clean place and friendly people.

Got piercings done by Kendall and the experience was perfect from start to finish. With a crisp aesthetic, the space is welcoming but professional.

Kendall was everything a first time piercee could hope for. Knowledgeable, empathetic, patient, and experienced, she took all the anxiety out of the procedure and I left with perfect piercings.

Perfect piercings and none of the looming concern or remorse that for me often accompany major and permanent choices.

I cannot underestimate how rare this is and what that says about Kendall. I've got plans for 6 or 7 more, and I hope I can get them all done by her!

I took my 9 yo daughter to Imperial Tattoo today to get her ears pierced. I was blown away with how professional everyone was. Kendall pierced my daughter's ears and made her feel so at ease. Before arriving my daughter was wanting to back out, but Kendall really has an amazing way of taking to little ones that make them feel at ease.

I'm giving 5 stars ONLY because I can't give more.

Amazing experience! Hands down the best tattoo parlor iv ever been to. The staff was all extremely nice, friendly, welcoming, and easy to talk to. The place is super clean. I loved how they handled everything. I got 3 piercings from Kendall. Shes amazing! She did a great job and they were essentially painless. Shes the only person I want piercing me from now on. And when I decide I want another tattoo ill be coming here as well!

Super friendly & helpful staff! Kendall was AMAZING and very professional. She made me feel comfortable and confident in choosing Imperial Tattoo for my piercing. The building was clean, the staff was knowledgeable & all my questions about my piercing were answered.

Went in for a big piece and an 8 hour session with Aaron. This place I would highly recommend. Clean, friendly, and very professional. I loved that the music wasn’t blaring like most shops also. Aaron is an immaculate artist and goofy which did help make me feel comfortable. I will be returning for any future tattoos! Thank you guys!

I went in today to get a piercing and was so happy with my experience! They were extremely thorough with cleaning and took all the proper precautions for Covid prevention. Kendall did my piercing and she was so informative and made me feel at ease during the process. I would definitely recommend them to everyone!

I’ve been a patron of Imperial Tattoo Company since 2016 for piercings and had our first not perfect experience this past week.

First and foremost, book your appointment! This 4 star review is just that. 4 stars- Kendall is friendly, knowledgeable and has an amazing skill set. The facility is immaculately cleaned.

Then check their website for policies when you book- you will only be told by phone to bring a state ID and not told to check the website for their actual policies. The phone screening for appointments is disappointing and they will enforce policies they do not inform you about and ruin your day. If the person who took my appointment had informed on policies they would have gotten $250 more from us, instead we took our business elsewhere for those piercings.

While I respect the policy of requesting a birth certificate with the reasoning of “making sure the parent with custody beings their minor in” it’s extremely flawed logic. A parent can not have custody and be on the birth certificate, a parent could have kidnapped their child and is on the run, A birth certificate copy could be forged. Just like saying “bring a state ID” applies to minors over 15, so why would I bring a copy of a birth certificate if we brought the only thing I was informed of? I highly suggest requiring the notarized letter the state mentions on their website if your true concern is a minor getting an ear lobe piercing without parent consent.

Will that stop me from going back to Kendall for my next planned piercings? Nope. I’ll be going back within a month.

Will this stop me from recommending Imperial Tattoo? Nope. The artists are very highly recommended in Richmond.

Just do your homework so you don’t waste your time (or Kendall’s).
