This is a great shop for piercing! I've had six piercings done here, and all of them went flawlessly (2 conch, 1 tragus, 1 anti-tragus, 1 daith, 1 eyebrow). Mingo pierced me each time, and I cannot sing their praises enough. They made sure every time that the piercing was going exactly where I wanted it, and that I was always prepared for the needle before piercing. They also always make sure that you know how to care for your piercing, which is so important.

Poor service. I called before asking if they would piece my daughters ears with screw back earrings, they said yes, although not their preference. I went and bought diamond and gold earrings and arrived and they turned me away saying they would not do the piercing. I do not recommend using this business as I also drove 45 minutes to get this device done that they said they would do.

Noah was amazing, my 10 year old got his ears pierced and was nervous but Noah made him comfortable and laugh through the process. Would absolutely recommend to any and everyone.

The artist are very clean The facility is very clean. The prices are kind of high. But when you're paying for the best artist in town it's worth it you have to wear the art forever it might as well be the best platinum piercings and tattoo that's what you'll receive only the best.

They bend straight stylets for an area that needs a curved one - this will make it very painful!!! Also, bait & switch!! You probably won’t get who you booked with. When I booked my appointment it was supposed to be with the owner, Noah. He is not who did my piercing. I specifically wanted Noah because of his experience and the fact I wanted this piercing to help with my migraines. The guy who did my piercing bent the stylet in multiple places. It was really painful. (I have a daith piercing on the other side. It was not painful at all when it was placed.) I got there early for my appointment but I was treated like a walk-in. I waited a really long time. During this time I have not seen Noah. Finally he does come out, I mention I have an appointment with him and progress happens. He talks to me about the high quality gold earrings (I have metal allergies, I have to have gold) which were way out of my price range. He seems put off by me relaying that is out of my price range and tells one of the workers to show me earrings. I pick my earring out and pay. Everything is non-refundable by-the-way. They ask me to wait. When I get called back the piercer was not Noah. I kinda saw him bend the stylet in multiple places but wasn’t sure that’s what was going on (he was standing beside me and I didn’t want to turn my head) I honestly didn’t want to go through with it but I had already paid. It wasn’t until I got home that I saw they make curved stylets. Well, that makes sense - so why didn’t my piercer use it? Also, what was the point of an appointment time if I was basically still treated as a walk-in? Now I’m stuck with a piercing I got to help with migraines that I doubt will work due to how particular the placement is for that. That’s why I wanted a very experienced piercer. Either way I don’t recommend it.

What a week! I started on Tuesday searching for a place to get my tattoo since I have been wanting one for so long. I had been wanting to get this done for the past 3 years. After looking at 3 other tattoo studios, I still was not happy, So, I decided to do my homework online one eveneing and actually read the reviews before making my final decision. I decided on Platinum Tattoo and Body Piercing. It was a great choice. The studio was clean, and comfortable, I felt at ease as soon as I walked in. I had chosen Jason Woods from reading the online reviews about the shop and about him and his art. When I met Jason, I shared my ideas and the artwork that I wanted incorporated into my design. Jason was great to work with. He designed all the aspects I wanted in my design on the concept drawing and made it flow together and his concept drawing was absolutely right on. Since I am in the Navy in Norfolk VA., I was only home on leave for just 3 days so to get this done right, I thought was not going to be easy. Jason assured me he could get this done. The total time he needed was going to be 10+ hours or so. So over the course of all day Thursday, July 4th, Yes they opened the shop and came in on their day off, just to do my tattoo. Jason worked about 8-9 hours on Thursday and then again on Friday 7-5-19 worked another 5 hours to finish the piece. He cranked this piece out in about 13-14 hours over the back to back two days. It was totally awesome, all the details, all the right details, Jason is a great guy and very talented artist tattoo and with his 18+ years of experience, he knows what he is doing. I would highly recommend him. I am so glad I choose Jason to do my tattoo. In fact, now I am back at my Navy command post in Norfolk, VA, from arriving on Saturday night 7-6-2019. On Sunday just running a few errands around the base and to the store that day, I had at least 12 people, comment on how much they liked my tattoo. Ten of these folks, I did not even know and they commented on how nice my tattoo was. Jason is the only artist that I will let do any future work next time I get back home to San Antonio. Jason YOU DA MAN.
