Platinum Tattoos & Piercings

my partner was supposed to get a tattoo re worked, all we wanted was for it to be darkened, it was simple, not even two inches, line work. we sat waiting to be called for almost an hour and when it was finally time, the artist came up to us, didn’t even introduce himself, asked if we spoke Spanish and just led us into a back room without saying anything. May i mention they were getting a sternum tattoo and was given NAPKINS?!?! Not pasties. Napkins yo cover up. I understand being an international artist, I’m glad he found opportunity here but my partner was not able to communicate their boundaries at all. We decided to not go through with it. When we walked out to get our money back they did not want to give us our money back. They wanted to keep my money for “setting up” my partner didn’t even sit down. We did not get a tattoo, therefore we need that money back. I’m sorry but they do not need that money to pay for “setting up”. I understand rotational schedules but they didn’t even want to give me a partial refund. We really aren’t the kind of people that are difficult. We are very understanding. But we are college students and can’t afford to just loose this money. And especially if my partner walks out crying. We came to Twisted Tattoos afterwards to schedule and appointment. We INSTANTLY felt so much more comfortable and explained our situation. They of course agreed with us because that kind of situation should not happen. Do not go to platinum tattoo, avoid an experience like ours.

WOULD NOT ever recommend this place to get piercing. I’ve never tried their tattoo services but their piercer is awful, heavy handed, and so unprofessional. The first time I went to him was around the start of Covid-19 to get a nose piercing. He’s a bigger guy and it was warm in the room so idk if that had anything to do with it but pulling ur mask half way down ur face is a no for me . Then this time I went with a friend against my better judgement to get a belly button piercing and this time was even worse. He was snappy and impatient when it came time for me to decide if I liked the placement of where my ring would go and when it was time to do the actual piercing he did it bare hands with no clamp. The experience was painful (I’m a body mod junkie so this isn’t my first rodeo) and felt rushed, customer service was less than great. I already hear so many negative reviews on Miyo (the piercer) and he’s somehow still there and the ONLY piercer if I’m not mistaken. If you want a positive piercing experience and professional/accurate work, save yourself the trip yall.

Great place. The interior is very clean. Everyone wears masks, and hand washing is mandatory. Staff is friendly. They are helpful and knowledgeable. Hunter did an awesome job on my new tattoo.

Had to make a review! I had a great visit! Went in for jewelry and was nicely helped out! After I selected a piece they offered to place it. Mingo was sweet and did so quickly. I’m glad I decided to check it out! Thank you!

First glance at the shop and it is the cleanest friendly place as far as tattoo shops come. My wife and I had our daughter with us making appointments and she was fuss and Noah the owner made us feel welcomed about our baby and said it was more than okay, we requested Mena based off of a friends recommendation and I was beyond pleased he worked quick very help answered all my dumb questions will be back 1000% to get more done by Mena!

My cousin and I got pierced, for ceremonial reasons, before we each got on flights out of Texas. Service was relatively fast, but I paid $72 for a nose piercing. Everyone I talked to afterwards, said I paid too much. Atmosphere was cool tho. They have a beautiful statue of Lord Shiva right in the lobby.

The team at Platinum is awesome! Crazy busy on a Saturday, as it took about 9 hours from walking in to leaving for the design below, but well worth it! They took my vision and drew it until I was satisfied. Per their recommendation, I opted for color and I'm glad I did!

I will be back, but perhaps not on the weekend ;)

Rudy made the whole process quick and safe. He made sure we got our service done even after walking in 10 mnts before closing time! His willingness to do overtime will definitely make me come back.

Great experience. Staff is awesome. Reasonably priced & I am so happy with the outcome of both my new tattoo & the one I got touched up!!!! Would recommend 10/10!

1st off a man who is not wearing his mask correctly is telling you that you have to wear a mask ok. 2nd they wait until 3 or more people need piecing before a person comes in to do the piercing. You wait for an hour to a piercing. 3rd they do not care about your time they ask you to pay so you can’t leave after you been waiting for forever. Absolutely no professionalism or consideration at all. 10 people standing around and no one to help.**PLEASE SHOW ME HOW THIS MAN IS WEARING A MASK!
