Platinum Tattoos & Piercings

My daughter wanted an industrial piercing, and called for pricing and to make an appointment. Not once did they tell her that the piercing was a separate price from the jewelry. I've been around a while, and had piercings and tattoos done from multiple states and multiple shops. Not once have I paid an additional price for the piercing jewelry. Not only do you pay for the jewelry in addition to the piercing, you pay for the BACK of the earring, which is required to keep the jewelry in your ear. Absolute rip off. Go to a smaller shop, you literally have to talk to multiple people just to get a simple piercing done.

The only positive thing I can say is that everyone was very nice, very polite. So we'll call it a polite screwing.

I went and had my services done by Sarah. She is a new piercer at Platinum but very experienced elsewhere. She was SO sweet! I had also got to spend time with her prior to getting pierced due to some of my other piercings that I had gotten done there a while back had been constantly having issues and wanted a piercer’s opinion/look over before getting any mouth piercings- to see if it was a good idea in case of possible rejection. She assured me that it was a jewelry issue and I wasn’t meant for surgical steel, rather titanium or gold. So happy with the whole experience/process and she made the piercing experience a breeze as well. I hope she stays a while, I would love to come back and have her as my piercer again. I’m very sad to rate this place one star as I really thought it was going to be like the reviews said. The customer service was fine, but after that everything went downhill from there. I went to get my navel done, which was pierced incorrectly and at an angle. I’ve gotten many piercings before and they have all healed perfectly, but for some reason this one was not healing. I went back and asked if I could get a longer bar, but they said there was no need and just gave me a floating navel instead, even though my piercing was still swollen and definitely needed more room (hence why I suggested a longer bar be put in). It’s been three months since I’ve gotten pierced and I went to another shop today because I felt in my gut something was off, and they told me that it was definitely pierced wrong and that it doesn’t matter if I’m “fat” it shouldn’t have scar tissue or I shouldn’t have such a hard time healing this piercing. The piercer was very nice, but beware if you are bigger you may not have a good healing experience like I did!

Got my first piercing here, just my ears haha I came about a week, maybe a week and a half ago. It was a cool place and I enjoyed my experience here, professional and clean, and it was really quick as well, thanks to all the staff that helped me 😎

Had a wonderful experience.
Myself and 2 friends went in to get tattoos. One of us (friend 1) had an appointment, and the other two (myself and friend 2) were gonna get something done if they had time.
Shane was our artist for all 3 and he did a spectacular job. Great bedside manner, great linework. I intend to return soon.

TOP NOTCH CUSTOMER SERVICE!! 👏Beautiful and clean environment. My wife Mabel went in for a nose piercing. She was a little nervous at first but the staff and the environment helped eased her down. The wait time was minimal despite having other customers around. The piecer (Mingo) was really friendly and very confident with his work. The piercing was done before we knew it.

Unfortunately they had put the wrong jewelry on her. She only found out when she got home. She called the store and they referred her back down. She went back down the next day in hopes that something could be done. Even though the staff was different, they were quick to resolve her issue and had no qualms about it. They offered her a change when she recovers in a couple of weeks. And they had nothing but apologies. They had actually over charged her and we had to settle that issue as well. But the owner Mr Nah, was so communicative with everything. Explaining every detail of the refunds to us and he even gave us a discount for our next visit for all the inconveniences.

This place definitely prides themselves with being customer orientated. 6 stars if I could! Thank you!!!

I’ve been here multiple times and liked it. I got piercings done here. No problem. It’s gorgeous inside. I don’t mind the price. But umm…all I want to say is…if you’re female…don’t go alone…or maybe find a new shop all together. One experience will leave me avoiding this place in the future. Wish I felt comfortable saying more.

I came in for a septum piercing and I've had a septum piercing before (it was crooked the last time). When I came here to get my septum pierced a second time I asked the piercer about it and he just said "yeah happens a lot". Then he proceeded to pierce it ans did not ask about placement, or even CLEAN THE AREA BEFORE PIERCING. I understand if you are having a bad day but being very OFF PUTTING, COLD and UNPROFESSIONAL in a customer service type setting for people that have genuine concerns. I didn't say anything to him because I don't like causing issues or making people upset, especially for someone who seems to hate his job. I just hope maybe he can learn and fix his whole vibe. The rest of the staff was very nice and professional. But the piercer MINGO needs to fix his setup and vibe. He also did not give a clear care info, I have had several piercings before so I know how to care for them but if it was someone who is getting their first piercing then maybe, just maybe try and be more clear and make sure your client is understanding. Bad experience with that piercer, very unprofessional. If he can't learn maybe he needs a new profession.

Booked and payed online to make things much easier. Got there and they made me sign piercing consent form which I had already signed online. I had to pay for jewelry which was not mentioned to me online. I booked and payed online to make things much easier and faster without me having to stand there with my wallet in my hand. I just wanted to get there check in and get things done without wasting time. Waited 30 min to get pierced. I’m guessing the wait and that one piercer with bad vibes is the reason Many people don’t go back. There’s a lot of people who have never been pierced and feel nervous when it’s their first time and the last thing they need is a piercer who is not welcoming. Girls infront were nice. But I won’t be back.
