Got my cheek & lower back dermals done here...he did a great job with the placement and explaining the process to me. Was quick even with a line out the door when I arrived. They take extra precautions to making sure people prevent the spread of germs & cleanliness is definitely what I look for in a tattoo & piercing shop. Everyone was professional but also laid back from the pretty chick at the door greeting you, to the gorgeous women behind the counter to cash u out & help you pick your jewelry & of course the talented piercers! Probably won't go anywhere else! Yall are the BEST! ♡

I honestly love 23rd and have gone to them for all my adult piercings. I have had everything from my nipples to my ears pierced here by many different staff members and they are all friendly, professional, and great at what they do. I was very shocked at the reviews stating staff were “pushy”, one thing I respect 23rd street a lot for is how seriously they have taken covid protocol and how committed they are to creating a safe piercing environment - by no means are they pushy, they are professionals. Wanted to make this review to let others know to not be worried or scared that the staff are mean or anything of the sort because I saw these types of reviews pop up, if you are going to get pierced in Oklahoma, 23rd street is the way to go.

Ben was a stellar piercer, and my friend was very happy with her experience with him!

However, the snoody hipster receptionist/associate at the front counter kept me from making either my intended jewelry purchases, or getting the piercing I wanted. I don't spend money at businesses, even local ones, with employees who talk down to me or my friends.

This guy was rude, snobbish, and cared more about the upsell than giving accurate information to a new and inexperienced client. It seemed like he felt superior to us, and needed to make the process seem scarier than is realistic.
This was another reason I was thankful for Ben's relaxed demeanor and forthright way of doing business; he offered better aftercare information to his newly pierced client, and let her know that she could return to speak with him if she had any concerns.

My friend said that her and her partner's previous experiences with ginger-hipster-counter-guy on the other side (at the tattoo shop) had been equally as frustrating, and they had privately assigned him a less than flattering nickname after the experience. Seriously, at one point I asked which soap he would reccomend washing her face with (after a nostril piercing, and I expected Dial or a recommendation for a mild antibacterial soap) and he ACTUALLY told her Not to wash her face at all for the first couple of weeks. I have 4 facial piercings and have Never been given that advice. I'm not going to argue with a professional, but he (and the shop) lost a lot of credibility with us both in that moment.

I was just visiting for the weekend so my lost $100 not spent, but she is a repeat client of the tattoo shop, and loved her nose piercing and is thinking she may want more, as well as talking to her husband about his options. This jerk may have just lost the shop 2 loyal customers. Before we left, we spoke to another associate about jewelry, and she was pleasant and helpful, but Of Course, the bearded lizard just had to butt in and try to play know-it-all.

No thanks. My money stayed in my pocket, and I went to another shop.

Went in to stretch my septum piercing, was treated great by the staff, had a very pleasant experience with Danny. Definitely going back!

We came in at a later time, but the line was already cut off. They stopped an hour before closing. The lady out there was super nice and respectful. She gave us a coupon for our troubles and h gave us information when we asked. Came back the next day and got my ears pierced. Very clean and professional. Definitely worth the wait. I’ll come back if I need anything else done.

My wife and two daughters were in the area and were just involved in an accident while trying to park. They came to get my younger daughters ears pierced. The staff found out and were very helpful with the girls and helped with calming them down. The person at the front waited and talked to my older daughter and the person piecing my other daughters ears was just as kind and helpful. They all had a better day after visiting the business and it helped in dealing with the craziness of the accident. Thank you all for the kindness you had to my family during this time.

The piercing turned out great as well. My daughter was so happy.

Always clean and super professional. They are busy so be prepared for a wait but they move quickly. Jewelry is great quality and they make you feel comfortable/relaxed when getting pierced.

I got a eyebrow piercing from India and she made me feel so relaxed and comfortable the whole time. The other employees were nice as well and the place was clean and sanitary.

Came to get a nose piercing, Ben did my piercing, and he did a wonderful job. I'm definitely coming back to get another one done. I would recommend him to anybody who wants a piercing. He done a great job. Thank u so much.

I know the world we live in has us all on edge, but I feel like you need to know. The lady who checked me in tonight was rude and pushy to get me done. It's supposed to be a fun experience. We came in as a family with my 2 sisters and our Mom. I wanted cute jewelry, but just ended up with a silver ball because I was so ready to be done with her. She had a red tattoo on her wrist with layered hair. My 2 sisters dealt with the guy at the counter and he wasn't very nice either. My Mom actually dealt with the nicest lady there. They made her walk outside to breath with her oxygen machine on because she was holding her mask a little away from nose. It was still covering her face. Customer service is extremely important in any industry, but especially this type when your nervous and excited. I was using my Mom's card who was there, and she even questioned that too, and not in a nice manor. If it weren't for my body piercer being great and how clean the establishment is; I would of just left. Shane Henderson was great though. Very personable. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
