Haley did a fantastic job on my tattoo- she is talented, engaging, and meticulous in ensuring the end result looks great. I also liked the atmosphere inside the shop. I’d certainly recommend Campus Ink and Haley!

I love this place. The tattoo artists are great (shout out to my favorite Maggie, her plant tattoos are amazing) and everyone is friendly. it's comfortable and clean, with good privacy if you want it.

I tried to go here with friends and save money, but it's been more expensive in the long run. The staff is not helpful with piercings.

I came in 7 weeks ago for two cartilage piercings. Albert up-charged me $10 per piercing on the spot supposedly because the jewelry was different and more expensive than the ones listed on the sheet at the front desk. I was okay with that because. I would like to trust my piercer, but this was a lie. My jewel keeps falling out, so I went to a different piercer who told me it falls out because the threading is faulty.

When it fell out the first time just a few days after my piercing, Campus Ink staff told me they were too busy to put it back in. Now I have to get a new piece for my unhealed piercing.

I have received two photorealistic tattoos by Josiah Schmelzer, and they both turned out phenomenal. Josiah is one of the most skilled artists I have ever seen; when it comes to color, detail, and precision, he is the best! Not to mention his warm personality, and modesty. I never once got the “I can do anything because I’m better” vibe, but rather a “I can do anything with enough practice and effort” vibe, and that makes a world of difference. He is very easy to talk to and get along with and the time spent being tattooed feels a lot like hanging out. He is always willing to work your idea into your budget if cost has become an issue, but makes sure to keep the original vision intact, albeit affordable. Although I would not suggest him to first time tattooies or people who are not used to pieces that are extremely detailed (but if that’s what you’re looking for, and hopefully it is, go ahead and stop looking for an artist now, you’ve found him). Josiah’s technique is unique because he doesn’t start with outlines, as a matter of fact plenty of his works aren’t outlined at all! He just jumps right into the tattoo starting with bits of color here and there and boom! Before you know it, he’s putting on the finishing touches to another beautiful piece. I have seen this to be not only effective, but fun as the end product doesn’t take shape until the end and that anticipation is just thrilling. After getting to know him and getting smaller (but with no less precision to detail) tattoos, I’m looking forward to putting together some inspiration for my first portrait and could not be more confident in my choice for an artist. Five stars!

The shop is in a great location. The staff/artists were fantastic. Haley especially. She did tattoos for my friend and i. The concept was kind of specific and she didn't mind the 102 modifications we asked for.

I went here to have my Nipples pierced. The entire shop was a little dismissive of me and just sort of rushed me through the process. I was pierced be ALBERT. After 2 weeks nothing felt right with my piercings I decided to go back into the shop to say something, never had any intention of letting Albert touch my body again. Albert wasn't in went somewhere else, to have my jewelry changed, and they told me the jewelry put in (bent barbells) were completely wrong and that my body was going to eventually force the jewelry out because of this.

When I returned to complain and ask for my money back because of their poor work and negligence I was basically told to kick rocks because I had them changed somewhere else.

I had an issue and they didn't care at all about fixing it because they got my money.

This is a place that doesn't care about their customers and running a respectable business.

Got my 1st tat here! There was a group of four of us getting 1 or 2 tats. Three of us were virgins to the needle.....lol. Needless to say Haley did a phenomenal job on my ohana w/stitch outline tat! She also did my daughter's best friends tat on her ankle of a four triangle w/an A. This was her first tat too. The tats were simple in design but she was fast.

Albert did my neices and daughters tat. Let's just say my neice was getting the two tats I mentioned above. Albert had us laughing and my neice enjoyed her 1st experience in getting a tat. She was nervous but he lightened her nerves. My daughter also got the same two tats as my neice. She was the only one in the group that had several existing tats. This was her 1st tats she ever got in Wisconsin.

Let me just say......Haley and Albert made the experience well worth it!!

Followed Noah there and still couldn't be happier. I can't see art, my brain just isn't wired that way, but I always get the advice and expertise that I look for when making big decisions like...a permanent tattoo! Was very happy to see that Josiah and Noah shared the same room again. Since I have hard time visualizing things until they're staring at me in the face, I needed someone experienced to help say, "you know this might look better like this," or "have you thought about this..." I didn't feel dumb...I felt helped! Can't wait for my next consult and the next step in getting my masterpiece done! THANK YOU!

Randomly walked in for a spur of the moment tattoo and had an experience with Alberto that I'll never forget! Super talented artist and very professional environment. He transformed my bad tattoo into something i love. Thanks Al :)

Went into the shop wanting to get some advice/input/ideas or maybe get something drawn up and the guy behind the desk acted like I was a complete annoyance. didn't even greet me when I walked in just let me stand there awkwardly until he finally gave me some attention and said "what? We aren't tattooing anymore tonight" I said okay is there a better time to come back? He said "not really come back maybe Thursday" okay great thanks guy, I'll take my annoying business elsewhere.
