My artist is Corey. He's done two of my tattoos so far, and he's incredibly talented! Out of all the artists I've gone to (5 so far), he's the only one I would return to! The place itself is very clean and the atmosphere is very friendly! The staff is kind and open to any questions you have. You won't regret getting a tattoo here!

I've had nothing but wonderful experiences at Colt's. I've had three tattoos done by Maggie Gosselar. Her work is incredible and she really takes the time to nail down exactly what you want. She is extremely patient, personable, and warm. Her art is delicate, bold, illustrative and alive. She enjoys trying new things, and she's capable of quite a breadth of different expressions and styles . My most recent piece was very painful; Maggie was exceptionally sensitive to my needs and a great cheerleader to encourage me through the worst of it. I felt - and always feel - very cared for in her hands, which is something that I feel you really need from someone who is going to do something painful and permanent to your body! She has a lot of love for the human form; skin, muscle and bone make a notoriously difficult canvas and she's very attentive to each body's constraints, beauty, and possibilities. Maggie always makes sure that each tattoo will work and be loved on your body. She would rather make sure that everyone is 1000000000 % satisfied than turn over clients quickly. Even though I'm a bit shy about my body, I always feel comfortable in the shop - not just with her, but with every professional there. I've had positive interactions with the rest of the staff - they're always professional and courteous. Plus it seems like they all have great camaraderie, which just makes the shop feel like a good fun place. The place is always spotless, and it's clear that the staff always has hygiene, safety, and client happiness at the top of their priorities.

I have wanted to get an old tattoo covered up for a couple years now. I knew exactly what I wanted but I couldn’t get it on paper and I wasn’t sure where to go. A good friend recommended to see Albert at Colt’s. I came in for a consult with him, he explained what would work and what wouldn’t with the cover up and he drew up exactly what I wanted. I’ve had two sessions so far. His work is amazing, he’s friendly and comfortable to be around. I’ve already recommended him to multiple people! I’ll definitely be going to him for all of my tattoos! If I could give this place more then 5 stars I definitely would!!! I have had almost all my tattoos and some piercings done here at colts timeless tattoo and every experience is better and better all we’re done by Albert Reyes who is a very talented and skilled artist, I would never go to another place or artist! He is very professional, clean, and caring for the costumers wants and needs! Thank you so much again for always making it a great experience and of course for making my tattoos and piercings amazing! I will for sure be back soon!!!

Words can not describe how happy I am that I chose Timeless Tattoos over any other shop in Madison. From the time I walked in for my consultation, to the time I walked out with my finished piece; it was an overall great experience.
A buddy of mine gave me a tattoo on my forearm when we were 16, you can probably imagine my level of regret of getting it now that I’m 24.
I worked with Mr.Albert in the back of the shop and boy was he confident about bringing my arm back to life. After taking his time reviewing my arm during our consultation, he drew on my arm, came up with a color scheme and did a great job explaining what he was doing and why.
Sure enough, a few weeks later I came in for my appointment and I was not disappointed. The guy has a great personality and makes the somewhat painful process pretty fun. He is very easy to talk to, I cant think of a time that our conversations died down for more than 2 minutes throughout the 4-5ish hours I was in his chair.
The shop itself has a great atmosphere, and all the employees that were present that day were pleasant to talk to and all seem to work great together.
Id rate my over all experience there 6 out of 5 stars. I AM DEFINITELY COMING BACK!!

My artist at Colt's Timeless Tattoos is Josiah. We've got about 30 hours into a full back piece and I couldn't be happier with the progress. The photo realistic work Josiah does has made this experience a true painting coming to life & its on my skin!!
The shop is big! Plenty of space with privacy if needed. I feel completely comfortable for my sessions and the shop is nearby campus next door to State St Brats.
I only have great things to say about Colt's Timeless Tattoos. In addition to Josiah, I've met and personally seen the work of both Mark & Noah. Excellent artists! Go in and check them out!

Mom and I wanted to get matching tattoos for awhile, so for her Christmas gift we decided to get it done. We had a great experience with Marc Nelson! Our tattoo is a word, and Marc helped us figure out the perfect font and size! He was very friendly and made us feel at home. It was a great experience! I know we went to the right place!

Campus Ink is fantastic! Marc is a great artist and has really helped me bring some great custom tattoo ideas to life. I tend to mostly be interested in very large, complex pieces, and Marc has done some really amazing work creating cohesive and dynamic whole-leg and full sleeve designs for me. I love the laid-back environment, and all the artists are cool people who are fun to chat with and watch work.

I rarely have a week go by without a stranger pulling me aside to compliment my tattoos and ask where I got them, and I am always happy to point them to Campus Ink, knowing that they’ll definitely be happy with what they get. Many of my friends and coworkers have had tattoos done there, and all of them have nothing but good things to say about the quality and their experiences.

I got an absolutely beautiful tattoo from Maggie. Her designs are so creative and thoughtful and she really listens to what you're looking for in a tattoo and is just a lovely, welcoming person to talk to while being tattooed. Compared to other tattoo shops I've been to in Madison, Colt's was more organized and professional, they communicated well and I didn't have to wait around for them to get set up or finish my design.

This last year, I decided that I finally wanted to move forward to get the tattoo that I have wanted to get since my Grandfather passed away about 8 years ago. Because this was my first tattoo, I went in having a lot of questions, extremely high expectations, and was honestly anxious about what to expect. I had tried to work with other tattoo artists in the past but didn't feel like I had the best connection to get what I wanted. At Colt's, I worked with Maggie Gosselar, who was extremely professional. She worked with me to find a design that represented what I wanted in a form that would be timeless; I really didn't want a tattoo that would be similar to what other people would have or said to be trendy. This was a feat because I ended up getting a tattoo of a feather. Maggie spent time consulting me and drawing on me to find the perfect placement and design that worked for me. She listened to what I wanted and needed, took into consideration what this tattoo meant for me, and talked me through what I needed to know in order to not only take care of the tattoo but to keep me calm during the actual tattoo session. For a tattoo that has such an extreme amount of detail, Maggie worked quickly and finished with something that I never would have expected to be so great. I had extremely high expectations of what I wanted and Maggie blew me away with what she produced. I get stopped at least once a week to have people compliment the tattoo and ask for the artist. Maggie is in high-demand as an artist for a reason; she produces amazing artwork and cares about the art and people she is working with. I plan on working with her again in the future.
