It was my first time getting a tattoo. The artist was very professional. And made me feel at ease. It's a very popular spot, so I suggest that you make an appointment. Even though they do accept walk-ins. The place was clean. The staff professional. And the tattoo...beautiful!

I took my 19 year old granddaughter 3 weeks ago to get her first tattoo and the price was way better than the other quotes we received. The tattoo was so well done and the artist was so friendly and patient that she went back this week and got two more but this time she had a physical reaction(she gets panick attacks). The artist that did her tattoo was so caring. He gave her water, helped her to the ladies room and waited outside the door until she had gotten over her attack and finished her tattoos. The tattoos turned out wonderfully and my granddaughter is so pleased. Due to covid they would not let me be with her so i am very grateful to the artist for taking such good care of her. I highly recommend lucky 13 if i could give 10 stars i would.

I went to lucky 13 to get my nose ring changed to a stud that I had from getting my nose pierced. First of all, the girl did not explain at all what she was doing, she just went at my nose. When she took my nose ring out, she completely destroyed it. It is no longer usable. I have taken this out and put it back in multiple times. She was not careful with maintaining my nose ring jewelryâs shape (which is not hard to maintain). Then when putting my nose ring in, she lost the end of the nose ring in my nose. It fell out, she lost it and then found it. This was completely unsanitary and unprofessional. She then had to re-clean it after I asked if the table top is sanitary (which she said it isnât which tells me sheâs not cleaning it between clients.) She finally got my piercing in and walked away saying there you go. This place is unprofessional and inconsiderate to their clients. I would not recommend unless you want a cheap job done and your piercings âman-handledâ. I would have asked for a new nose ring from them since they destroyed them but at this point I donât even trust their quality of piercing jewelry. The one positive thing is that the front desk girl was very kind.

I had a man named Johnathan as my artist. He is far from a professional tattoo artist. First, his attitude was atrocious. And when I told him that he isn't fully filling in my bird with the color I want, he said it is fully colored multiple times and refused to put more color in it fully. Low and behold 3 months later, actually even before that I start to see the color inside the bird blotchy. With parts of my skin showing!! He did NOT fully color it in was rushing and overcharged me!! $180 for a small word "Dad" with a bird's silhouette. He destroyed it. Was highly sarcastic didn't know an inch of customer service or respect. I was appalled. I need to get it fixed now. DO NOT trust this man with your SKIN. He has tanned complexion, black hair wavy/curly and perhaps a black beard. Terrible job. Ruins the reputation of this tattoo parlor. Wish I had someone else in my luck during the walk in. The front desk lady was nice and so were the other artists it seemed, just not Johnathan.

After reading the amount of high quality reviews, I really wanted to love this place- various friends of mine have even raved of their experiences. I visited for a spine tattoo on 5/30. The front-desk staff was very helpful, they assisted in typing up the quote I wanted and making sure everything was right before handing it off to the artist. The artist confirmed the quote was correct before starting and every single word was there. However, when finished, the first word was missing and the entire tattoo was crooked. I contacted the business to discuss some sort of correction and have never heard back.

My daughter got a cartilage piercing (snug) at Lucky 13. The procedure was suspiciously quick: in and out. She provided a good after-care at home, always cleaned it, always used the spray. But it started get swollen and red and it hurt. When pus started to come out of it, I took her to the doctor, who immediately saw it was an absess. The piercing had to be removed, which was an extremely painful experience for her given, that it was totally infected and inflamed. The doctor took a culture of the bacteria that was in the wound, and the lab came back: Staph. They gave her Staph infection. The reason why the piercing was so fast, probably because they neglected the safety/sanitary precautons. I will advice anyone against this place for piercing!
