Can’t say enough about this shop. From it’s cleanliness, the professionalism of the whole crew, the quality of artists..it’s truly in a league of it’s own.
Matt Skinny and Chris Empire are two of the best artists around. The shop manager, Brandon, is incredibly professional and welcoming. I’ve been to this shop at least 7 times and it’s always a great experience.

The tattoo artists here are all easy to get along with and fun to talk to. They do amazing work, my boyfriend has had all but one tattoo done here and he has about 7 tattoos and they all look completely amazing. I love the atmosphere here too, the only part that sucks is the parking 😂 but that's not their fault.

Admittedly, I didn't get a tattoo here BUT my wife and I were on a trip to Charlotte and were walking by when it started to downpour. After a few minutes of standing on Made to Last's porch, an employee or owner (not sure) opened the door and welcomed us in. We mentioned how beautiful the interior was (not a word I ever thought I'd use to describe a tattoo parlor) and he offered to let us look around as much as we'd like. He also let us stay in their VERY comfortable waiting area and offered us bottled water. So I'm not sure of the quality of tattoo at Made to Last but if their employees and atmosphere are any indication, I wouldn't go any other place!

This is THE place to get ink or piercing in Charlotte. The staff is amazing, especially Sloo (ink), Shelby (desk), and Michael (piercings). Do not bother with research or comparisons, just go here. You will be blown away by the service, quality, and comfort!

We could not have been more pleased with our experience yesterday at Made To Last Tattoo.. It certainly far exceeded our expectations.. My soon-to-be husband and I walked in to inquire about matching tattoos to commemorate our wedding date.. The staff is so welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional.. Not to mention that the shop is beautifully and artfully decorated, and immaculately clean.. It was my first tattoo; and after such a pleasant experience it will not be my last.. Special shout out to Bryan (my tattoo artist), Evan (who did my husband’s tattoo).. and Brandon at the front desk for being so helpful.. As my hubby Matt said when we left the shop.. “Those guys were as cool as a fan!”
