I adopted my daughter last year and she recently turned 18. To commemorate her first REAL family vacation, she wanted to get her first tattoo. She saved her paycheck so she could pay for it herself. She came up with a design, and picked a tattoo shop. That shop was closed due to moving, so we called a few others with great reviews. The guy on the phone was super nice. I explained she wanted the tattoo to be a surprise for me, so I put her on the phone. She emailed what she wanted, we were told they take walk-ins, and they asked when we could be there. We said 20 minutes. We get there and both tattoo artists seemed bothered by the fact she had a custom design (ironically) and both said they needed time to draw it out. The female handed off the design to the guy, then OUT LOUD where I could hear, described the design to him. My daughter was visibly upset she ruined the surprise. He seemed annoyed we wanted to sit and wait for him to draw it out. I do understand art takes time. He suggested we come back later. I explained we were doing family pictures at sunset and based on the quote I was concerned there would not be enough time to get it done due to their closing time. Instead of coming right out and saying there would or would not be enough time, he beat around the bush for 10 minutes, then proceeded to get more and more frustrated. He said I was being belligerent (he might need to check a dictionary, because the only time I did get that way was when we left). He couldn't just come out and say what he wanted from us, then proceeded to insult me. I love being gaslit by some narcissistic male who truly can't come out and say, "Let's make you an appointment, we will make sure to get it done." I literally told him I was trying to fit our schedule with his schedule and he said, "Its not my job to accommodate your schedule." I never said it was. I was trying to make this work for everyone, but instead he wanted to throw his weight around and act like he was some macho man who didnt have time for dumb females. They treated every male they talked to with the utmost respect but treated us like we were idiot females taking up their precious time. Nope, just trying to give my child her first tattoo experience and he truly ruined it with his unkind behavior and inconvenienced attitude. She will now be coming up with a DIFFERENT custom design that will be a new surprise and she will not be able to commemorate this trip the way she hoped. The time we spent driving back and forth and having such an unpleasant discussion with him was time wasted and can't be returned. Thank you for absolutely, 100% ruining my child's first tattoo experience. You have no idea what she's been through to get where she's at and I do hope karma bites you HARD.
Edited to reply: Take note below at the continued insults from Terry, which just proves my point. He even goes so far as to insult my daughters idea. A young 18 year old who has never had a tattoo. So, because he's mad at me, he now attacks my kid who literally sat and said nothing, not even when the female ruined the surprise. It wasnt my tattoo. It was hers. We never said do it NOW. We were willing to come back but we weren't told on the phone to come later. They told us to go ahead and come on and they would fit us in. So, we went by what we were told on the phone. The problem lies with the original miscommunication and inconvenienced attitude. Its compounded by the insults. If you want a venomous, egotistical male to tat you up, then this is the shop for you!!! Otherwise, I highly recommend looking elsewhere.

Sandra took us as a walk-in and worked with us to make it an amazing experience for my first tattoo. As a total tattoo newbie, she explained everything and was fantastic.

Sandra and Terry were phenomenal. Sandra is super talented and is nasty with the free hand! Terry is "kitten paws mcgraw", as he would say lol. He has a very light touch, I barely felt a thing. I absolutely LOVE my tattoo!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Went for my 1st Tattoo tonight and I must say, Nick was super nice and very informative, he exceeded my expectations for Customer Service. Curt did my tattoo and I couldn't be happier. He was friendly, professional, quick, and overall did a phenomenal job. The price was better than anyone around as I've been shopping for the right fit for a while. Super stoked to have such friendly folks to deal with. I would recommend them to anyone.

Went in for a last minute tattoo! Terry met us at the front for paperwork & helped with the design and size of the tattoo i got. He was very willing to try many sizes to get the perfect fit for my piece. I believe John was the name of the artist who tattooed me, he was very welcoming and he pulled a good straight line. I didnβt feel the touristy tattoo vibes. This shop is very professional and clean.

Iβm giving this review because I was there that day that βMary Smithβ was in your shop and Iβm so sorry that she left a bad review (although not that surprising seeing how she was a total Karen). Her temper tantrum in the shop was absolutely unacceptable. All you guys are great and amazing artist and I hope that you donβt let crazy Carol Baskins affect your attitudes.
