Blue Horseshoe Tattoo and Piercing

Decided to get another tattoo for the wife and I. We were new to the area and couldn’t be happier with the service we received at Blue Horseshoe. The entire staff was friendly and the care they take for sterilization and cleanliness is amazing. Vinny was our artist and he did an amazing job touching up an old tattoo for me and adding on and a custom piece for the wife. It is always nice to see a group of artists that are passionate about their craft and it shows in their work. We will be back!

Walked in to get a tattoo to add to my arm sleeve-in-the-making, and was paired with Vinny for the process. They suggested I add UV coloring to my one pop of color and I’m so glad I agreed… really makes the tat stand out under a black light against the gray/black/white of the tattoo. They were understanding of my budget and changed the stencil sizing patiently to my liking. Not only was the end result BEAUTIFUL, but I really enjoyed our conversations during the session and I even took home some new ideas about life :) Blue Horseshoe is the bomb, and so is Vinny!

Great staff....receptionist was REALLY nice and accommodating....both artist we saw were great....I loved mine, she was a true artist and I LOVED her paintings! She did a great job on my sweet Sully that I lost a couple of months ago 🥺❤

Came in and got an amazing half sleeve for 200$ ( cheap!!!) but AMAZING. I told them I want an artist choice and he didn’t fail to amaze! Duff is definitely amazing go see him!!!!!

I usually don’t review but, make sure you check the pricing before you go. I was charged $160 for a tattoo that took less than 30 minutes and it’s smaller than 2inches. I only gave them two stars because they were nice enough but I will never be returning here.

5 years ago I got a nasty tat up from someone who was cheap. Paid $500 for the cover up. Every since everyone loves my new tat. Last year I went and got my sons name and perfect again! People love the nice lines. Alot of people hate the price but if you want it done right you gotta pay!!!! People need to stop being cheap. I plan on going back this week for my other childs name. This place ia great. Great work, color, and friendly. If your too cheap to get a great tat then do it yourself. If you want something that everyone says hey nice tat where was it done then this is the place to go!!! Forget the cheap reviews. Save your money like I did ans get a Fab tat!!

Super clean and calm place. I had a great experience there with the people but my piercing is iffy. I got a philtrum (medusa) piercing five days ago. The guy used a post with a super small back and it was going through the hole and it was superrrr uncomfortable. I was afraid it was going to embed into my lip or rip through with how easily it was going through the inside of my lip. It also wasn’t closed all of the way which I didn’t know so it kept getting caught on my lip in the front. I finally realized I needed to close it the next day but I was still uncomfortable. I ended up going to another shop and they were shocked he used such a small backing and glad I came in. I called Bluehorse earlier today to see if I should come in to their location but the front staff said they’d be closed due to the holidays. Understandable. The front desk staff said the posts they use are 1/2 inch but when we measured it at this new shop it was way shorter. I’ll post a pic of the post they used. The backing is barely bigger than the post itself. Regardless, the overall environment of this place was super friendly and nice. But I’d recommend using larger backs on oral piercings because it was very uncomfortable and everyone I’ve spoken to said those backs are for like cartilage and stuff.- not oral. Obviously I’m not a professional but just wanted to throw it out there.

I have now gotten 2 tattoos done here, one by Biffy and the other by Vinny. Both amazingly talented and very nice to work with. Definitely going to continue to come back here!

Friendly staff. Clean facility. I'm from out of town and they made me feel at home. I got a snake bite piercing and absolutely love it. Very professional!! I plan on going back my next trip to Virginia!

Everyone there is so kind and gentle with you. The amount of care they put into making sure your tattoo is just how you want it is otherworldly. They are also extremely friendly and I felt like I was hanging out with friends which helped me stay calm.
