Lady’s beware my tattoo artist was being very flirty with me and it made me uncomfortable, even though I told him I wasn’t single. After my appointment was finished he proceeded to text me and tried to get me to cheat on my boyfriend. They have many great artists but I wouldn’t recommend Shannon to any girls that may be put off by that kind of behavior. I was told he was still working there after I was told he isn’t with them anymore.

I spent the longest time finding a tattoo artist I connected with, when I found him I set an appointment and gave my deposit to the shop. A week before my appointment the artist left the shop. I decided to follow him to a new shop, it has now been over a month and I have yet to have my deposit back. Raventhorn has made it nearly impossible and when I do get responses it’s them asking for proof that the artist cancelled my appointment… the shop canceled my appointment because the artist left. This should not be this hard. I will never go to or suggest Raventhorn as they are very unprofessional.

If you have the chance, you should definitely get tattooed by Kristen Otero. Not only is she one of the most kind, down to earth, relatable human beings I have ever met, she is insanely talented!!! I've gotten tattooed by her 6 times in the past 5 months. She has the ability to put you to ease in her chair, design there most badass designs ever, and if you get the chance to snuggle Darwin while you're getting your tattoo... It's pure heaven.

I was traveling in Salt Lake City for about 5 weeks. I found Kristen at Raventhorn prior to my trip, checked out her portfolio, followed her IG. I really loved her line work and black line work. Kristen is super efficient, she designed the perfect piece for me just based on random ideas I threw at her. Not only is her work superb, but she was also awesome to hangout with and chat with during the session. Highly recommend.
