I was referred here by my sister-in-law. I called twice before going and no one answered. I wanted to see if they had time to do two small tattoos. When I arrived one man handed me off to another who told me they’re too busy and he already has to work late. I apologized and said I had tried to call but got no answer. He replied with “yeah we are all working.” He didn’t ask us about coming back, making an appointment, or anything.

I’ve been getting tattoos here since they opened. I may be bias because Danny and Alex are from Jersey like I am but I dont go anywhere else in the area. I am loyal not only because the tattoo quality but because of the atmosphere in the shop and their commitment to excellence. They take pride in their work and put love and unparalleled devotion to make the art something you love. They always have fun doing the work, I love that. They do all styles very well, which is often difficult. Danny and the team are really committed to their craft and don’t go to conventions, but instead go to workshops where they meet other artists who teach how to improve their work and improve in the future. There are a lot of good artists in the area but when I want a tattoo, black heart is where I go ( getting my 10th from there this week). They just got an incredible artist from PA. He puts them over the top. Don’t price shop for tattoos and come to BHTC
