I don't think there's anything bad I could say about this shop. I think a lot of the bad reviews on here are stemmed from people who don't actually look into the business. They have it posted everywhere that everything is either done by emailing the artist you want to work with directly (every email is posted on the door), or going through social media, which isn't unusual in this day and age.
When I first moved here, this shop caught my eye just by the look of it. I walked in, not having any social media, I asked my questions and I got my answers. Since I didn't have social media, Ashley, one of the artists brought me to the room and asked what I was looking for and personally showed me every artists work on her iPad. When I told her I wanted to work with her, she gave me her email and told me to send her my ideas and it was smooth sailing from there.
This is a smaller shop, so making an appointment is the best and appropriate way to go. Even in walk in's are available you can't walk in and expect to be seen by artists already working on their scheduled clients. They take pride in their work, and will spend any amount of time to make your vision come to life. It's not just come in, get a tattoo quick type of business. They are a quality shop and if thats what you're looking for, this is the shop for you. Every single one of the artists working in this shop do amazing quality work, and they don't just tattoo you, they make you feel welcomed and they listen to you, they get to know you, and if you don't want that, then they'll just sit and chill with you during your session. Anyway, I LOVE black heart tattoo collective. I have all my tattoo plans to be done at this shop! My girl Ashley has started me on my tattoo journey and every idea I've brought to her, she's brought to life in ways I didn't even imagine because SHE listens to me and what I like. They all do. 500 stars from me!

Real chill place to get a tattoo. Ive got two pretty extensive pieces done, a cover up of a large cross on my chest, and a half sleeve...both done by Danny. He is a phenomenal artist and I am beyond happy with the quality of work. For the quality and efficiency they get ink on you, their prices are more than fair especially given the demand. It may take you a month or two to get in but I promise its worth every penny.

Glad, I got my first tattoo here. The interior is very spacious and clean with awesome decor. Alex is great! Booking was easy and he answered all my questions in a way that was easy to understand. Plus he gave me stickers!

Danny is the man! This dude is incredibly talented. He did a large piece for me and I get compliments on his work, all the time. He's super professional in all interactions and as a bonus, a lot of fun to hang out with while being inked. I have many tattoos but since meeting Danny, no one else will be doing my work.

If you are looking for a one on one tattoo session where your artist actually pays attention to the client this is the spot. I’ve been tattooed at this location and I would say hands down this is better then the spot he was at before. I like the fact you are tattooed in a room compared to an open area. This shop does Awesome work and if you are unsure of a Tattoo but have an Idea they will design it for you. Only shop I’ll get tattooed at in Texas.

I got tattooed by Danny here. He did such an amazing, wonderful, lovely job on my leg tattoo. I will not go to any other tattoo artist except for the guys who work at the shop from now on. Everything was so clean and well taken care of. I never felt uncomfortable or pressured or anything at all. I highly recommend this shop to anybody who's interested.

If you are looking to pick number 6 off the wall after a night of drinking... this is not the shop for you.
