Wonderful; wanted to get a bottom navel piercing and Derek walked me through his thoughts on it (based on my anatomy) then did a quick, precise procedure. He followed up with a phone call a few weeks later to make sure it was healing properly. Also has the best selection of simple body jewelry I've seen.

I got my septum pierced by Derek Ian yesterday and it was probably about the best choice I could have ever made. This guy is friendly, helpful, personable, and knows what he's doing. He talked me through everything both before and after the process and was very openly available for support during the healing process. I don't care how many piercings you have, when you're getting a needle put anywhere through your body you want the person doing it to care. GO HERE, SERIOUSLY!! You won't regret it.

I personally have been tattooed here several times and every time the experience was very enjoyable.My fiance received a large Dali inspired piece and I don the solid black sleeve, both tattooed by Kerry. All the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable in their craft be it the piercings, tattooing, painting whatever the topic, it was shown in a pristine light. The jewelry selection is also one of the best I have seen around the state, very good high quality jewelry. I would highly recommend this shop for any work one could want.

Derek Ian is professional and has a calm manner about him that will make you feel at ease in his chair. I highly recommend him for any and all piercings. I have had three piercings by him and will be back for more.

Forever is hands down the most professional shop in Asheville. Derek is informative and personable, and it's very clear he knows his trade like the back of his hand. You get the entire rundown of what you want, and many options for jewelry.
One of the coolest things about this shop is the fact that Derek can anodize your jewelry to be within a range of different colors. It's great to have such a selection of options, it really makes the shop stand out.
Although I didn't get my piercing done at Forever (I just got my jewelry changed, and then anodized again for freeeee because I wasn't fond of the initial color), I would happily say that I will come back to him for any other piercing. It would just be silly not to.
