Forever Tattoo

I recently got my first tattoo with John at Forever Tattoo and I love it!! John was super patient, friendly, knowledgeable, and allowed my boyfriend and I to walk in without previously scheduled appointments. He drew several stencils for our small tattoos and accommodated all of our requests! We will definitely be coming back!

Was a little nervous going in, and was only getting a simple re-do on a very old ear piercing (36 years ago, from Piercing Pagoda-esque type of place), as it had grown shut. Very clean shop, great selection of jewelry, and very knowledgeable staff. Derek Ian was nothing short of gracious, professional, and not the least bit elitist. Not many people can do this kind of work with the wide variety of clientele that I saw coming in to see him, and do it well. Customer service is an art, and the whole place has mastered that. They should teach courses to anyone in business on this very thing. On the actual piercing, it was brilliant. Looks great, feels great, and I completely recommend this guy and his shop for service.

I was so impressed by Derek Ian (piercer) at Forever Tattoo. He is a real, available, authentic person who is passionate about doing his job well. He really cares about people and wants to help. He helped me heal some really infected piercings (which I got in Savannah) and went above and beyond to save them. I am now happily healed with quality titanium jewelry in my nose and nipples. I still walk in that store just to say hello whenever I am in the neighborhood because I really respect and appreciate them. I would highly recommend Derek's services to anyone. You can rest assured you are safe with him.

Forever Tattoo & Piercing has treated me very well. I got my foot tattooed by Rob, the owner. It has healed very well & looks splendid. He did an awesome job!! My friend got a piercing from Derek. I sat & watched. He was extremely professional throughout the entire process & guided her through the whole thing. The shop is very clean & the staff is friendly.

After some great email correspondence, I went to see Derek a week ago today to talk about getting a piercing done...a Prince Albert! On my way there, I was a little apprehensive, but ready to do it if I felt comfortable. When I came in, Derek was very welcoming and friendly. During our consultation, he took me back to his studio, which was immaculate. I immediately noticed that every piece of metal in there was already in a sterile package. He didn't touch a single thing without first putting on gloves. Derek willingly and openly discussed with me, at length, the options for jewelry, how the actual piercing is done, after care methods and his experience in piercing as well as with this particular type. He was very candid and honest with me that he had only done a handful of Prince Alberts among the hundreds of other piercings he's done, but he assured me that he was totally confident in his skills.He could sense that I still wasn't sure, so he referred me to someone else nearby, whom he believed had more experience, and said I should at least talk to them. I thought that was very professional and took his advice.The fact that he had enough respect for his work and his clients to actually refer me to someone else, says a lot about his character. Half an hour later I was back at Forever. After shocking him with my description of the other establishment and piercer, I explained to Derek that his professionalism had more than won me over. I felt completely confident and comfortable with Derek's skill, workmanship, professionalism and overall demeanor. Obviously a P.A. is a pretty scary piercing, but I felt completely at ease with him during the whole process. I couldn't recommend Derek highly enough to anyone. He really knows his stuff! After agreeing on the placement of the mark, it was deep breath in, big exhale and it was done. The piercing went great! It looks awesome, and one week in is healing perfectly. I'm really happy I did it. If any guys reading are thinking about getting a P.A. done, Go for it! And you have to go to Forever and see Derek! He's a real stand up guy and outstanding professional.

I just got my nose pierced by Derek and it was a great experience from start to finish - he made me feel at ease and explained each part of the piercing clearly, had a great attitude and did a GREAT job on my piercing! The shop was super clean, friendly, with a good atmosphere. I would highly recommend Forever Tattoo for anyone who is looking to get anything pierced, and I'm definitely going back for my next piercing. :)

Forever Tattoo gets only the highest reviews from me! 10 out of 10...5 starts...2 thumbs up!!! They have a clean studio and an awesome staff! Kerry went out of her way to set up an appointment for me on her day off! She and Derek both showed the utmost respect and kindness through my entire experience with them! I called on a day that Kerry was sick and Derek got my number, called her and called me back to try their best to fit me in as best they could...which resulted in Kerry coming in on her day off (and she didn't even tell me until she was done!) My tattoo looks perfect and is healing great. I love it!!! Derek, you are truly Zef : ) and Kerry you are a sweet and very talented artist! I will definitely go back to Forever Tattoo!

This is by far my favorite place I've ever been for piercings. Derek has been awesome every single time I've gone in to see him. I recently had a somewhat tricky procedure done by him, ears pierced at an 8 then stretched to a 6 all at once, and he could not have done a better job. I've had zero problems with them and they look great. If you are nervous about getting a piercing done, he is definitely the guy to go to. He guides you through the whole process, helps you relax during, and is practically seamless. Only guy I will ever go to again.

I got a tattoo at Forever Tattoo last week and it was a fantastic experience! After a little research and seeing some of Kerry's stunning work online, I knew exactly where to go. I came to Kerry having an idea of what I wanted, but hadn't yet worked out the specifics. She made some great suggestions as to size, place and font, and in the end, I couldn't have asked for anything better. I was a little nervous, as this was my first tattoo, but Kerry made me feel incredibly safe and comfortable. Kerry and Derek are extremely professional and know how to take care of their customers. I would put my full confidence in Forever Tattoo and recommend Kerry or Derek in a heartbeat. Thanks again!

My girlfriend and I have received multiple piercings from Derek at Forever Tattoo and Piercing - and we have never been let down. The building itself is located in Downtown Asheville on Lexington Ave, and certainly fits into the Asheville scene. The inside is decorated with a lot of awesome photography and artwork, mostly by the staff, which is an incredible testament to their work within itself. Derek takes a massive amount of pride in his work, and from the moment we walked in he spent a great deal of time informing my girlfriend of her options (she was getting her tragus pierced), new piercing technology (Neo Metal - it is a phenomenal option to choose), as well as just being a generally awesome guy. The actual piercing was done very sterile, very professionally, and the outcome was perfect. Derek also calls periodically to check up on you and make sure everything is healing well, and is always willing to take a look, make adjustments, and do whatever you need to be completely satisfied. I recommend anyone who is looking to get a high quality, professional tattoo or piercing to visit Forever and just hear what they have to offer. I promise you will not be disappointed with the quality and pride of the work.
