Forever Tattoo

My experience here was wonderful, one of the best that I've had! Derek is everything that you want in piercer - informative, welcoming, attentive and up front. He won't let you walk away with anything less than perfection. After coming to him with a fairly complicated piercing, I couldn't be happier with the end result. He genuinely cares about his clients and even checks up on them afterwards. Definitely recommend!

I have been searching for a tattoo artist to create this very meaningful tattoo for me that I have wanted for years. After about 5 years of searching for the perfect artist, I found Rob Hunt. I told him what I wanted and the first drawing he drew up for me was PERFECT! He really understood my vision and he was so excited to get started on it. He was extremely knowledgeable, kind, and so fun to work with! The shop was incredibly clean and everyone there made me feel so welcome and comfortable. Rob really changed my life in such a positive way with this tattoo experience. I recommend Rob and Forever Tattoo to anyone and everyone!

A few months ago I went to Forever and was pierced by Derek Ian. The piercing I got was a vertical nipple piercing on my right nipple, behind the horizontal piercing I already had on that nipple. Derek said he had never done that specific piercing before, but that he felt confident he could do it well. The piercing turned out great. Derek was friendly yet professional, and I will definitely go see him again if I decide to get another piercing.

Derek was extremely professional, friendly, and accommodating. He made me feel very confident and comfortable, explained the entire process to me and took plenty of time to answer all of my questions. I could not have asked for a better piercing experience. There is no point in going anywhere else in Asheville or anywhere within driving distance!! Thank you Forever Tattoo and Piercing.

I got my nostril pierced and while I've never been pierced anywhere but here, with the exception of the Piercing Pagoda when I was six, I don't see how Derek Ian's piercing could be surpassed. Derek Ian is friendly, but not in that forced, overly saccharine way that is endemic in customer service. He is clearly passionate about piercing, and his passion is matched by his knowledge and experience. During the actual piercing process he told me exactly what he was doing, so I didn't feel like I was just laying there waiting to get stabbed in the face. He was both informative and reassuring, and his demeanor made the experience a lot less intimidating for someone new to piercings. I love the jewelry and its placement, and I think Derek Ian does a great job making sure his clients get the piercing that is best suited to them. The shop itself is very clean and open, and has a killer music playlist, might I add. It should be noted that I live over an hour away, but it was totally worth the trip, and I'll definitely be coming back. #teamDerekIan

I recently got a rib tattoo from Kerri and it was great! Healed very fast, no fading, and little pain. My daughter got a triple piercing from Derek and same awesome results. Healed quickly, the jewelry is beautiful, and the overall experience was the best!

Derek is a great piercer! He has done two of my piercings, my vertical hood and my nipple. They both turned out excellent! He is a true professional and makes you feel super comfortable! Go get pierced!

I worked with Rob and I was blown away by the results. Every piece he does is original and drawn from scratch. I went in there with a simple idea and he turned it into an amazing tattoo on my upper arm. I got compliments after just my first session of the outline. The shading and color detail is outstanding as well. I cannot tell you how many people I’ve had stop me and either praise the detail or ask where I had gotten it done.

The sessions are not bad either. He is very flexible with scheduling and does not work based on the clock. He’s going to give you his best effort, and I believe it to be well worth the money.

I hadn’t planned on getting another tattoo, but this place has definitely resparked my interest. If I were to get another piece done, it would most definitely be at Forever.

Though I have had many tattoos and piercings, I don't think I've ever worked with a practitioner as professional as Derek. I came into Forever Tattoo after having my nostril pierced at another establishment, and was very specific with Derek about my placement and my expectations for my face. Though I was rushing in and out, Derek seemed as if he would've spent as much time as I wanted educating me on the material, the method, and the angle of piercing my nose exactly as I wanted.
When all was said and done, it looked exactly as I wanted, and all of my worries about positioning were gone. It healed quickly, and I will forever refer all of my piercing business to Derek.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!! Kerry and Derek are very professional, very kind, and truly passionate about their work. You WILL walk away from here happy! Kerry has done some amazing work for me on three tattoos that i could not love more. I have brought multiple friends to her and every one has had a great experience. I am not artistic in any way, and when I came to Kerry with a simple symbol she turned it into something way better than anything I imagined! I have gotten countless complements on her pieces. She has also done script for me and everything has turned out crisp and clean. If you want to get a great tattoo in Asheville, you gotta go to Kerry Burke!
