CAUTION! IF YOU PAY FOR A TATTOO GET IT ALL DONE IN ONE SITTING.THEY ARE NOT SHY ABOUT TAKING YOUR MONEY NOT PROVIDING YOU WITH THE SERVICE YOU PAY THEM FOR, THEN IGNORING YOU WHEN YOU TRY TO GET THE WORK COMPLETED.
I went in for a tattoo from Van. He started the work, apparently did not think I'd be able to manage the pain because he scheduled something for just following my tattoo assuming I'd request we complete the rest at a different date. Believing he was not going to take my money and run I let him hold onto the remaining $100 for the completion of my tattoo, it's been months and months and months of my trying to get this tattoo finished and all I'm getting is the run around. I finally asked for my $100 back since almost A YEAR has passed and they still wont give me a date to finish my tattoo. At first when I finally just asked for my $100 back since they won't give me a date to finish the tattoo I was told they would refund me, but now they've stopped responding to my messages and I have not received my $100. STAY AWAY! They think being famous means they can do whatever they want STAY FAR AWAY!

I had a terrible experience with trying to get a hold of a person that was taking care of business, I came in town with family and thought I could go by to check out the shop... I was told after calling multiple times that Ryan was booked till June, I would have to call other phone numbers to get a hold of the other different artists, and that the shop was only open if an artist had an appointment scheduled that day. I fell like they should not call 9 MAG a tattoo shop, clearly it's an artist studio, and not a functioning tattoo business... Guess it's not just T.V. They really don't take care of BUSINESS!!!

Paid my deposit for a piercing with Don on 5/30. I had to email him or his assistant to inquire about an appointment date before my trip to Chicago. Arrived a hour before my appointment and no one is there. I have no contact info for Don but for an email address. Also reached out to Phor about getting a coverup and he never replied back to me. I like the show but damn...have y’all gotten that big headed that your customer skills have declined? The website states that the business would be open but no one was there. All I want back is my deposit...I will take my business elsewhere.

Really nice, clean place. Everyone was very nice & friendly. Cade, who does piercing was very nice, laid back, and has a calming demeanor. I'd recommend this shop to other will be back for more work.

JUST TOURIST FROM TEXAS! Taking pictures of the site! Heavy Security! Missed photo opt when one tattoo artist came out to ask if we needed service. We told him we were tourist fans from Texas. He said, Welcome! WE left.

I am so sad. I drove a 1000 miles to just see the shop and take a pic. I pulled up and seen ryan truck. Im a big fan and it hurted me sooo bad cause i just wanted to see my favorite cast members of black ink chicago. But i love all yall. Headed back to tallahassee fl. One day my wish will come true 😟
