First time in Chicago. I had to go to 9Mag. I had no appointment. I was a walk in. I was greeted very professional. I was excited to see Prince was my artist. I want him to be the person to do my tattoo. Prince was very professional during my consultation for my design. He display so much compassionate about how I wanted my memorial tattoo for my brother. Thank you so much.

Ryan Henry's assistant Gina is amazing! To get an appointment with Ryan you have to go through Gina. Coming from NYC to Chicago Gina helped with hotel reservations and communicated everything I needed to know for my appointment with Ryan. When I arrived to the shop I was offered refreshments and felt welcomed and comfortable. Ryan was super nice and has hands of an angel; the tattoo barely hurt. I would totally recommend Ryan Henry and 9MAG but also be realistic Ryan is a busy man.

DO NOT BOOK A PIERCING HERE! MADE AN APPOINTMENT DAYS EARLIER AND THE PIERCER, Brittany Slam, never showed. I waited for an hour while waiting for her coworkers to get ahold of her which they never did. I ended up leaving with none of the services being completed. I won’t be coming back here nor would I recommend it anybody else.

I went to Prince & he was A1. He tatted my face when no other shop in the city would. He took his time, was very patient, & he was very light on the touch with the needle. I'm DEFINITELY going back to 9MAG! And I found My artist... GO GET IN TUNE W PRINCE Y'ALL!💪🏾💉

My tat was AMAZING!!! IT was completed by KYLE, he did my cover up. First when i walked in the staff was welcoming and hospitable. Brittney, ask me did i have someone in mind which i didnt but she assurred me she had me someone who was good. OMG! DID SHE. Kyle went ABOVE and BEYOND what I expected. The ATOMOSPHERE WAS PROFESSIONAL, FAMILY ORIENTED, AND CATERING TO THE CLIENT. I wasnt expecting to see RYAN BUT HE WAS THERE HE CHECKED ON ME WHILE I WAS GETTING MY TAT AND SO DID OTHER ARTIST. RYAN EVEN THREW THE FOOTBALL AROUND WITH MY SON ( His kids were there) But BACK to KYLE HE MADE SURE I WAS COMFORTABLE, HE WAS GENTLE AND SUGGESTED THINGS FOR MY TAT I WASNT EVEN THINKING OF.
I LOVE 9MAG IM FROM CLEVELAND OHIO, AND THAT NITE I FELT. LIKE I WAS PART OF THE 9MAG FAMILY. OH GREEZY HOOKED ME UP ON SAMPLE BEVERAGES WHICH WAS OFF THE CHAIN(if they stiil say that) AND CADE, HAD ME ON MY PIERCING. He had all sizes. ( Which i didnt wont a fat lip but i watched him do someone else on a nose piercing and hers was was awesome! ) I will go to Cade for my next lip piercing.

Came from out of town and decided to get a ring tattoo...big mistake. The tattoo artist, I can't remember her name but she was Asian. Nice girl but can't tattoo. I showed her a picture of the tattoo I wanted. Let's just say it didn't look anything like the picture I showed her. I'm going through the tattoo removal process and will not be going back. This was a bad experience for me. 😔
