He always is amazing to work with, respectful of me as a client, and never fails to deliver fantastic work. The atmosphere and staff are beyond top notch and the amount of talent refined in one area is astronomical. Mike is by far one of the most talented and kind people I have ever met and the level of work he brings to his tattoo's is masterclass. I feel blessed being able to wear his art work everyday. If you have been searching for a shop to get your tattoo done, look no further. Self Made has THE talent in every art style you can imagine and the high level of customer service you are looking for. Super nice shop and cool people, but I felt like the artist, Julian, doing my tattoo just got careless in the end. He did a great job with the line work and structure but once it got to shading he went outside the lines on both leaves. I did talk to him about it and he just said basically he’s not perfect and he gave me a good deal, but I wouldn’t have taken the good deal if I knew the shading would have been messed up. It may not be a big deal to him that it went outside the lines but to me it is cause I’m the one who will see it everyday. I get everyone makes mistakes but this is permanent and I have to now go pay to get it fixed.
