Heart of Gold Tattoo

I have been going to Eric Hayes for tattoos since he was recommended to me back in 2015. Eric is an amazing artist who does amazing work. Throw him a few ideas of what you want, and let the man work, you won't be disappointed. The shop area is very clean and everyone is always nice. There are many talented artists working here, it's definitely worth stopping by for a look if you're in need of a good tattoo shop.

There is not a better tattoo shop in this town. Eric is amazing and talented, all the artist are incredible and I will never go anywhere else.

Absolutely amazing shop. PJ is the best piercer I’ve met in the Springs! He’s done both of my nostrils, he took the time to make sure they lined up properly. I really appreciated that attention to detail! I highly recommend him, and I’m definitely going to him for all of my future piercing projects.

Daniel did a phenomenal Job on my wife’s first tattoo! He walked her through everything calm and collected. Being professional and completely down to earth he also laid down an absolute master piece for a great price. If you’re in springs this is the place to go hands down every time!

Tbh, I didn't get inked here; I was hanging out with a friend while she got her tattoo. That said, there are a number of skilled artists with tattoo machines and ink ready to create some fantastic tattoos. It's likely that I will go here when I'm ready to have some permanent body art.

Artist did 3 tattoos 3 different people. And all 3 have bad blowouts. 2 are the same tattoo and both are filled in (where there is not supposed to be ink) the small amount of color is basically non existent.

Heart of Gold is an incredible shop, I've only been tattooed by Max so far and his work gets nothing but compliments. The art I've seen from the others there is also fantastic. All 5 tattoos Max has done on me are incredible his ideas are always great and he's super easy to work with. Max is also just a blast to be around and I love him. Pj did my nose piercing and was super fast and it looks great! I couldn't recommend Heart of Gold more for any tattoos or piercings you need!

I will not go anywhere else to get tattooed. Heart of gold is the most professional, clean shop with very down to earth artists. I have been seeing Eric for 4 years now and im never disappointed. If anything my expectations are exceeded no matter the style or color I choose. Hands down recommend for everyone.

I met the Heart of Gold crew at a convention in Oklahoma. Everyone I met from this shop was phenomenally talented and so much fun to be around.

PJ pierced a second hole in my left lobe and had all kinds of great jewelry to accommodate different price ranges and aesthetics. He has a great portfolio of past ear designs he's done with multiple piercings and matching jewelry. Most importantly, he had flatback earrings which has made the healing experience much better. My piercing is healing nicely and I've already gotten a lot of compliments on it.

Eric was kind enough to touch up a tattoo on my ribs I'd gotten ten years ago and had been putting off. I was a little nervous about pain levels since it had been so long since the original, but Eric has a very light hand and works quickly. The tattoo looks SO MUCH BETTER and healed beautifully. He put on a clear, waterproof aftercare bandage (tattoo derm, I think?) when he was done and it was seriously life changing. It made the healing process so much better and he followed up to see if it needed to be changed the following day.

I seriously cannot express enough how great of an experience I had with the people from this shop. Truly a group of super talented artists that are passionate about their craft and having a good time. Thanks again, Heart of Gold! Hope to come see the shop someday!
