From the business
"Denver's premier head shop and tattoo. Walls of bongs, glass pipes, vaporizers, wax, clothes, detox, did I mention bongs? Local glass pipes, import glass pipes, glass bongs, silicone, wood, ceramic, you name it we have it. Our tattoo side has wicked good artists, come on in to just talk, we are here for you."

Nice customer service but, they did me wrong and I'm gonna tell y'all why... About three months ago I went to have a septum (it costed $47 :/ ) done in this place. I knew I was not going to have a nice experience since the piercer accidentally stuck the needle in the top of my nose (before starting the piercing process). Then she inserted the needle without warning and quickly pulled it out to reinsert it (without warning again; to "fix" the piercing). After she was done, she had to provide me water and a glucose pill because I got dizzy (I almost passed out; first time for me, lol). Also, I think it was because she made me lie down and put my head upside down... That was kinda weird for me because I have normally seen that the septum is usually done by one standing or sitting but, oh well.
I have to say that what amused me was the fact that I went through all that process/pain so that, in the end, the piercing was poorly done (it was turned and almost on the tip of my nose; see the image for reference). Sadly I have decided to take it off and then find another place to have it correctly done.
Ps: In the end I found out that she was just practicing and working on getting her license to be a piercer, lol.
Also, I wanna make clear that because this has happened to me doesn't mean that it will happen to you, so do your study well. I decided to write my experience down so, whoever is analyzing the reviews, have different perspectives/experiences so it can make the decision more complete and trusted.
I hope that the girl who pierced me continues to gain more experience and therefore improve her techniques so that she provides excellent service in the future.

Normally my experience going to freakys hadn't been so positive but gosh dang this was the best experience I've had at one of their establishments. I came in on my electric scooter with a banged up wrist and sling, there was a gentleman and a woman working and they BOTH we're absolutely delightfully and very knowledgeable of their product. I was literally sold on everything I asked them about. Super awesome service and chill atmosphere. Thanks so much!

I went in looking for a new stud for my cartilage piercing, and a nose stud to wear during jujitsu. The person who helped me sold me $30 worth of jewelry that did not even fit in my piercings. The store was unwilling to give me a refund even though I had never worn the jewelry.

Some of the employees are not the most knowledgeable about glass and other smoking items. There are good employees that do have quite a bit of knowledge also just make sure if you have questions to ask someone cause they definitely will help you get too what you need in the end good little shop.

Don't buy vapes here, I've bought two & both times they work for a day & mess up & your stuck with junk. They don't exchange them so Chief Vapor has just won my business hands down, they have a 24-48 hr return policy. Other than that this place is great!

Normally I love this shop, but the last couple visits have not been impressive. I prefer zigzag papers. They had several of them behind the counter, but the cashier wouldn't sell them to me. Said she was "Out" after literally pulling out a pack of what I wanted looking at it, and putting it back. I didn't argue with her, I was in a hurry. The raw papers I got instead, I think they may be counterfeit. They run worse than any raws I've used before, plus the gummy doesn't stick and they don't roll smoothly or evenly. If you use finger roller they jam up, or the paper doesn't tuck. I haven't had these issues with any zig zags or for that matter raw papers I have purchased elsewhere. Honestly I will probably still shop there occasionally but will not be buying papers there anymore, which is the main way I smoke.. So. π€·π½ββοΈ

The girl who did my helixes was very fast, clean, and efficient! The piercing was done in under, I'd bet... 5-10 minutes. She was very kind and professional, and the space felt very safe and comfortable
