I recently had Adam do a memorial tattoo for me and he FAR exceeded my expectations! I gave him an idea of what I wanted and asked him to run with it and what he came up with blew my mind! I actually cried on my way home because he nailed my vision. 10/10 would recommend!

I went to Adam for my first tattoo back in January. He was extremely unprofessional, did very poor quality of work and I am very unsatisfied. I had my appointment booked with a $50 deposit for 3-4 months. A few hours before the appointment he texts me to reschedule. I was not able to do it the next day when he wanted so we compromised on later that same day. During the appointment he said "I might have to go to let the dogs out but I hope not for both our sake". I also found out from his Facebook page afterwards that he changed his hourly rate and did not inform me. Therefore it costed more than he had quoted me. After it was healed I saw I needed a touch up because half was extremely faded, and not clear or crisp whatsoever, there are noticeable breaks in the lines and major depth issues with the ink not being the way it should be. Extremely poor quality as it is right now. So I sent him a picture like he said to and texted him about it the next day after no response to the picture. No response once again. So last week I tried to contact him again. I contacted him throughout the week and no answer. Today I stopped in at underground ink to talk to him. He was extremely rude and said that I am on the waitlist and that it will be at least another 6 months before I can get in for my touch up. I am moving out of state in about 3 months. Now I am stuck and have to attempt to find a different artist that would be willing to do the touch up and pay even more for it. He was extremely unprofessional from the beginning. He was extremely rude today when I went in asking "what do I need a touch up for?". Please save yourself the frustration and DO NOT GO TO ADAM MUMPER AT UNDERGROUND INK ❗️❗️❗️

I've had Adam do quite a few of my tattoos. EVERY experience has been PHENOMENAL!!! Treats you like you've known one another for Years and you could have walked in that day for the first time. He listens to your ideas whilst keeping top notch professionalism but still laughs and jokes with you like you're best friends. His Watercolor Style is AWESOME!! His attention to color and shading is unique and his clean and sterile work can put even the most hypochrondriatic of people at ease!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED over and over again!!!!

Adam is a great artist and knows how to put you at ease if your nervous about getting your piece. He has the best ideas to add to your ideas and that is always nice. He's also really easy going and has amazing work. I will definitely keep going back

This place is amazing. Super clean Everytime. Everyone is very professional and insanely talented. The shop is always quiet and everyone is super friendly. The art he makes and hangs in the shop is superb. He also sells original pieces there! Mumper is hands down the best in the city, maybe even close to state best. If you guys see Murphy say hi to him! The building is also beautiful. It's old original ceiling looks amazing. 5 starts easy

The owner actively tries to cover up his bad work and bad reviews. Quite shameful honestly... I can't believe some of the work he has done while calling himself a professional. And also how he charges for a touch-up because he didn't do a good job. He needs to learn about needle depth before he calls himself a professional. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else.

Absolutely the best tattoo experience(s) I've ever had and I've had many. Adam goes above and beyond the expectations of design work and overall the job in general. The detail in his work is outstanding! And the conversation is great, welcoming and genuine (which is not easy when dealing with strangers) I've recommend him to anyone and everyone that asks about getting a tattoo and will continue to do so as long as he is an artist.

Adam is a great guy to work with! Whether you have your own ideas or if you open it to let him have the ideas! He’s a pretty flexible guy and looks out for your comfort. He’s done 7 of my 10 tattoos. His prices are very fair and his shop is super clean. And he’s located in a convenient spot in Fond du Lac. I’d highly recommend!
