This place is amazing! I had my first tattoo done here and it was a fantastic experience. It was super clean and the staff was beyond friendly. I had Alysha do my tattoo and when I wasn’t feeling good she took a break and got me water and made me feel way better. She did amazing work and I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Very professional an comfortable environment. Jonathan is an amazing artist an has incredible vision you give him an idea he'll bring it to life. Very helpful an friendly through every aspect from start to Finnish an after care!. Came to bright side for a tattoo left with a piece of art an friend's!

Been working with Jonathan for a few years now on my full back piece. Always works with me and my schedule which is constantly changing between shifts, weekends, out of state or country trips. Always works to get me back on the schedule whenever I re-appear in society, professional, and generally a great artist to get ink from. Over the years it feels more like going to hang out with a friend than get a tattoo.
Shop is fantastic and right off the main thoroughfare, never need to fight for a parking spot or walk a block to get into the shop either. Place is sanitized clean, comfortable, and razor sharp looking inside. Having bounced around to several of the tattoo shops in the area I can say this has definitely been one of my favorite ones to sit back and knock out a session in. The small shop feel makes a regular customer feel especially welcome, everyone in the dang place knows me by name after 2 trips in.

If you are curious about getting some work done, or want a unique custom piece you can show off to everyone you know that adds a little bit of the local talents artistic flare to your vision for the piece, Bright side is definitely a place to put high up on your list.

I went in to get a tattoo done today by Jonathan Tylor and was absolutely impressed by everything . How chill and lowkey he is (totally soothed the nerves) and then getting to see my tattoo come to life ! So glad I took the plunge because I ended up with a pretty freaking great tattoo ! Bright Side was awesome! I got a piece done by Ali! At first I thought I wanted a cover up, but decided to wait. During this process I was emailing them back and forth and they were very responsive. The communication was always there and respectful. I showed Ali my idea and was able to get tattooed the next week. She was super laid back, nice, and helpful with everything. My big thing is I didn’t feel pressured at all. I am in love with my new tattoo and will definitely be going back to Brightside and Ali. Thanks guys!

Jonathan Tylor is an amazing tattoo artist that listens and makes you feel at ease. He will keep working on the art until it's exactly what you want. I have had 2 tattoos done by Jonathan and just had my consultation for my 3rd. Can't wait to get started. Shop is clean, everyone is super friendly. Great experience!

The Bright Side crew has a friendly vibe without being imposing; and they are good at reading the atmosphere. Jonathan, the artist who engraved my flesh, delivered above and beyond what I envisioned the artwork could become. I really appreciated his mentality, approach and the overall handling of my difficult personality. While I look forward to collaborating with him on several more pieces - from what I witnessed, you will be in experienced, capable, and artistic hands with any of the artists present in Bright Side. hehe, I kind of wonder why there aren't cheesy lines floating around like... "Look on the Bright Side for your next tattoo." ;-)

Jonathan Tylor did a great job on my first tattoos ever. They looked great and he was kind and helpful when explaining the process to a first timer like me. It was a fun experience!

Really friendly atmosphere this tat shop would make everyone feel welcome. Some tat shops can feel intimidating as if you have to be a certain tattoo kind of person to go there, but Bright side isn't like that at all. Kim specializes in custom work, color and portraits and she is really friendly and easy going and I've always had a good experience being tatted by her. I would definitely recommend Bright Side to anyone whether it's your first tat or your 10th!

Ali did an incredible job on my tattoo, she was super friendly and professional in what she was doing. I gave her an idea of what I was wanting for my wrist and when time for my appointment, she showed me the design she had done and I couldn't have been happier with the result! I will most definitely be coming back for my next tattoo!
