I already had a review here from a couple years ago but I've since been in quite a few more times working on my cover up with Kim. My original review was regarding small little and big sister tattoos - we still love them! This updated review is due to my many appointments with Kim working on a cover up on my forearm working on completing the half sleeve. Kim truly does amazing work. She's patient, professional, funny and makes you feel relaxed - as much as you can be getting a tattoo! I haven't had the pleasure of getting work done by Ali or Jonathan but I've seen their work in pictures and in person and I'm very excited to get something from them both. I've been to a few other shops here in Spokane area and this is by far my favorite place and I highly recommend you stop in and make an appointment (or three!)

Just got my first tattoo today! I walked in and they set me up with Jonathan right away and in 30 minutes it was done! Jonathan was amazing! He worked with me on what I wanted and what is best with the font I was using. We laughed and he put me at ease as he did his work! I was nervous and he made it very comfortable! The place is clean and friendly! Kim was amazing and helped me get up my courage! If I do it again, Bright Side will be my place!

I just got my daith done and both my helix earrings changed! The pain isn't that bad, hoping that it will heal fast *finger crossed*.
The shop has good service and I'm looking forward to get my other side done :D

Jonathan did a great job on my anchor tattoo. He was very open to working together to finalize the design and did a great job on it. I love the shading and coloring. We had engaging dialogue and I enjoyed his various music options. He was all about giving the customer what we want. Thanks Jonathan!

Allison was super great!!!! She is an apprentice however her work is great and she is very friendly. I already made an appointment to have her do another tattoo for me. Today she did my very first tattoo. Also I saw Kim's tattoo work today and her technique for shadowing and giving definition to tattoos is excellent.

I had johnathon and he is by far the best tattoo artist I have ever had. I will definitely return to get more from him. He was great, made me feel very comfortable, listened to my ideas and was creative and helpful with the final result of the tattoo. The prices are affordable and he was willing to work with me when I had to change my appointment. This guy is great and I would recommend him to anyone.

Such a fantastic group of professionals. Aly did an amazing job on piercing my nose.Was very quick and barely felt any pain. We joked, laughed and I had a great experience! The shop is also very clean!
UPDATE: 01/08/20- The saline that they have had fully healed my piercing in just a couple days. What I love the most about the saline is that it's vegan friendly!
This is my go to place now.

Today was my 2nd visit to Jonathan Tylor to finish a custom tattoo that was a cover up of a tattoo I no longer wanted. I came up with the concept and sent Jonathan some inspiration artwork and he drew my tattoo. Jonathan’s artwork was right on the mark, his lines are amazing and color work is beautiful. After he completed the tattoo we arranged, I asked him to add a new color to one of my existing tattoos that he did not originally do. Some tattoo artists will not cover up or alter other tattoo artists work, but Jonathan was very gracious about it. I will continue to go to Jonathan for future tattoos and always recommend him to my friends.

I just finished a cover up tattoo with Kim, and I am absolutely thrilled with her work. I know that covering up an old tattoo really can put limits on an artist to make it look right, but she nailed it!
Choosing a studio/artist is a choice that you make for life, and shouldn’t be made lightly. Brightside Tattoo is clean, professional, and wonderful artists, that I am thankful to have found. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough!
