River City Tattoo Co

River city is super friendly! Went there for a walk in piercing on a Saturday. Very busy, wait was about a hour and a half. I left to go run some errands and came back, which they held my spot (so nice!) The piercing was easy and quick. Only thing is the base level for jewelry is $60 (that’s what I was told) so you’re going to spend a lot on top of the piercing fee. I wish I knew that before hand. Other than that, I recommend!

Great shop! Very clean, very professional, very busy. Make no mistake this is a top notch shop for tattoo and piercing and they take their art and their business seriously. You will be greeted, made to feel welcome, they're open for Q&A.
I had a tattoo by Ashely, but while I waited I was impressed at the friendly and professional staff that helped each person, whether it was buying jewelry, answering questions, giving advice, or talking to nervous first timers or mothers of first timers.

My 7 year old got her ears pierced at River City Tattoo. The entire experience was really great. From the front desk, to the piercing, and to checking out. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Shawn, who pierced her ears, was amazing! He made her feel very comfortable and was super patient. Would definitely recommend River City Tattoo.

My almost 10 year old got her ears pierced by Kelly this past weekend. My girl was super nervous / anxious, but Kelly was extremely patient and kind with her. She even brought in another piercer so that she could pierce both ears at the same time. Also - the piercing itself looks great. She took the time to make sure everything was just right, explained every step to my daughter, and was overall just fantastic!! I will definitely be bringing my other daughter here once she’s ready to get her ears pierced also. Excellent, A++++ experience.

I had an appointment with Bo for a rook piercing, and have had many other piercings done at this location before and always left happy. Bo was super knowledgeable about the healing process, and all things aftercare, was quick to answer any questions I had, and helped me pick out my jewelry. He really took the time to get the perfect placement of the piercing and did an amazing job. Super thankful and appreciate of all the time he took to make sure I was happy and my new piecing was perfect.

If you’re looking for jewelry make sure to double check the measurements. It doesn’t seem like too many members of the staff have proper knowledge to do so, including the manager. For Christmas I was gifted a pair of plugs from this shop. The person who bought them doesn’t know much about sizing but had the correct measurements saved on his phone from ordering a pair online a couple months before. He thought he could trust the shop that “boasts one of the largest body jewelry collections in the nation” to help him out. Anyway, he asks for a pair of 1 1/4” plugs and they start measuring different pairs. The first person to help him didn’t know enough to answer the questions he had so they went and got the manager to help him. Unfortunately she didn’t think to use the calipers they had laying around to measure the jewelry. Instead she used a little wheel that only measures up to 1” | 25.5mm. 1 1/4” is 32mm, so there’s a bit of a size difference there. But she was reading 1” | 25.5 as 1.25” (with an extra .5 on the end?). And even though he said more than once they look too small she told him they were measuring the right size. I get it, we’re all human, we all make mistakes. But it was their refusal to fix the problem they caused that was the issue. He had to go back 3 days in a row, starting with the day after Christmas, before they agreed to refund the money to a gift card. We ended up spending twice as much for a pair that was actually the right size. Thankfully someone who knew how to use a caliper was able to stop and help on his way out. And now that I’m typing this out I realize not only is the jewelry overpriced but they overcharged him because they didn’t know how to measure. All this to say, save yourself the trouble and money and just order your jewelry online. Anything they have in the shop you can find online for a fraction of the cost.

I always have the best experiences at RCT and this was no different. I got lobes and a helix piercing from Bo and it was honestly the best. He was super thorough with the piercing placements (he had multiple colleagues check them as well) and was very careful with the actual piercing. Aside from that, he was so fun to talk to and just made the whole process enjoyable and comfortable (especially for someone who was a little nervous.) Would definitely recommend going to going to River City and asking for Bo!!

We saw Bo and Maisie and had a great experience. My 4 year old was nervous and Bo did a great job walking her through everything. He was extremely patient and really made sure he was happy with the placement prior to piercing. They used lidocaine cream which made a huge difference and it was so easy. They gave her a package that had tons of stickers, a certificate, and unicorn tattoos. I could not recommend River City Tattoo more! I will definitely take my younger daughter there also when it’s time.

I got one of my ears pierced and it was great. The piercer, Bo was super experienced and gave us honest advice to both me and my sister. I am 13 and my sister is 16 so he knew to be gentle. The only problem was that there was a long wait time…we had to wait for 2 hours. A recommendation is to make an appointment and go. If I want to come here for my other ear I definitely will!

I got my ear pierced with Bo it was such a great experience, he was so professional and told me step by step what he was going to be doing. Also made me less nervous and more comfortable. I would definitely recommend using him! He also called to see how the healing process went which was very nice and thoughtful.
