Just finished up with Mason on a new tattoo and could not be happier! I have known for a while that I wanted Mason to do something for me, but wasn’t sure what. I went to him with a basic idea, but really wanted to let him run with it. It turned out incredible! Mason is a phenomenal artist and great dude. The vibe at the shop is also extremely unique in the best way. If you’re looking for something truly artistic that will absolutely pop, go to Mason!

This has been my favorite tattoo parlor yet! Everyone was sooo friendly and so incredibly knowledgeable. They have a really great team of artists. I was really impressed with how well everyone got along. It's just a really good group of people and everyone seems so happy! This place has a nice, chill vibe. I went to Mason Atlas for my first tattoo. We had two consultations to discuss what I was wanting. I really appreciated his obvious passion for his art and the background information he shared with me so that I could make the most informed decision possible regarding size, placement, etc.
While more expensive than I initially planned on, I will say it is completely worth it. Everyone working there are nice and friendly people, and I cannot emphasize enough how great Mason was not just as an artist, but kindly walking me through the process to ensure I made an educated decision.
In addition to that, I'm super picky and a big stickler for detail and I'm still blown away by the results.

This is the best tattoo shop I've ever been to. Mason is 360-degree amazing -- from his design, conversation, vibe, efficiency. Plus, you get to be around a bunch of other awesome tattoo artists. I think the what's most telling: after each of my six hour sessions, I didn't even want to leave. It's such a cool place.

There are a lot of reviews for specific artists, and while those are awesome- I want to specifically review the awesome atmosphere and overall community The Hive has.
Obviously I love my tattoo artist who works out of this shop, and as someone who has been there every 4 weeks or so for the last few months. However, I’m also getting familiar with each individual artist and the dynamic between them.
Talk about a love and acceptance that goes far deeper than just a tattoo, this shop is made up of all pronouns and identities. They are each others biggest hype men and supporters, offering a second pair of eyes to the designs and words of encouragement to the clients.
The music- I like to zone out during the painful stuff, but this crew picks the best dang music. Each time I’ve went it’s a completely different style and someone is always on point. I had to give a shout-out to that, because it’s not the stereotypical shop.
They’re a saniderm shop and truly won’t recommend something that’s not worth the money. They don’t try and upsell you on aftercare, they are really there to take care of you and try to make the healing process as seamless as possible while making your tattoo last.
I’m incredibly appreciative of The Hive, especially to have something local in Millcreek. 10/10 recommend

I've now had 2 sessions here with Mason and have loved every bit so far. Very easy to converse with as well as making sure you're comfortable and giving breaks if you need them. The other artists there are also very nice and welcoming. Overall the shop has a great atmosphere and of course the work done is perfect.

I got a tattoo from the Hive, and it was hands down the best tattooing experience I've ever had. Everyone was so awesome and the atmosphere was so welcoming. Trent made me feel so comfortable and heard and made an absolute work of art on my arm. One hundred percent will be getting tattooed there again. ❤️

If I could leave a better review than five stars, I absolutely would. I started getting tattooed by Mason in Orlando years ago and he does such a great job that I followed him all the way to Salt Lake City for my last appointment! Not only is he an amazing artist but he is a good person and he really makes you feel comfortable and welcome in his shop. I highly recommend getting your next tattoo at The Hive 🙌🏻
