Mason, the owner, has been working with me on a full arm sleeve for a little while now and I can’t speak highly enough of his impeccable work.
From the beginning stages, I wasn’t 100% sure of how to execute what I wanted. Mason spent a lot of time conceptualizing with me and creating a sleeve that cohesively ties everything together beautifully. His attention to detail and precision with his craft is unparalleled. Every step of the way, he was attentive and sensitive toward my needs and wants. I love that he reminds me every appointment of the after care protocols, and he’s always staying up-to-date on the latest trends, techniques, and advances in the science of the products he uses.
Whether it’s your first time getting tattooed, or you are a collector of tattoos (like myself lol) look no further, as Mason’s diverse and unique style will be perfect for you.
Oh, and did I mention that the shop is absolutely drop dead gorgeous? It’s so refreshing to experience a tattoo shop that is warm and edgy at the same time! Whoever designed that place, I’m determined to hunt them down and hire them to help me decorate the interior of my home!!!!

I am very impressed with Mason at The Hive. I had reached out to him through Instagram with some questions and he was very polite and helpful. I decided from talking to him that he would be a good artist to do what I was wanting. I came to him with a super poor quality picture of my dad's old tattoo and requested an interpretation of that for my own tattoo. He took the time to sit down with me and scour many many pictures online till we found what we both agreed would be a good one. He then satdown and drew it all up in front of me. When all was done and the results are there to look at, I couldn't be happier. It's exactly what I had in mind. It's rare to find an artist (in my experience at least) that is so willing to go above and beyond to produce perfect results. And as an added bonus he is a super cool dude to just talk with. He is definitely the guy you wanna go see if you want amazing work done!
