Love, Love, LOVE Prohibition. This was my first tattoo experience, and I could not be more pleased with it. JJ was my artist, and he did a great job! He was VERY clean with the way he worked and super knowledgeable. JJ was friendly and explained all the things I had questions about. He also made a super cool suggestion that made the tattoo even more meaningful and awesome that what was planned. He was very thorough with explaining aftercare. Everyone we talked to and interacted with was so friendly and the feel of the shop was really cool and relaxing. Overall I was really impressed and will definitely go back. :)

Geoffrey Sutton was wonderful! He completed a small, tattoo on my inner wrist that had a sentimental reason behind it. I am so happy with it! Geoffrey was so nice and kind. He explained everything and made sure I was happy with the end result. Totally recommend him.

This was seriously the best tattoo experience ever. I'm officially never going anywhere else. I'm an instant gratification kind of girl, so when JJ was booked out over 5 months I considered looking elsewhere. I'm soooooo glad I didn't. WORTH THE WAIT! And you totally get what you pay for. I had a landscape in mind, and he went way beyond my expectations creating a super meaningful masterpiece on my arm, in an extremely chill and pleasant environment. Cannot recommend enough!

This was my second tattoo from Rat at Prohibition. My first one was simple, but I loved the way the shop made me feel welcome, so I came back for a second more complex tattoo.
I'm not artistic at all, but Rat worked from my description and some photos I sent him to design something unique and personal for me, and I completely love it! He and JJ also worked with me on placement to get the look I wanted. It was a sensitive spot, but Rat made sure to check in with me and we took as many breaks as I needed. He and JJ were both very encouraging, especially at the end when it was most difficult for me.
Bottom line, I love this shop, and will keep going back to them for all my tattoos. Highly recommend!

I had my tattoo (well, four rather small tattoos) done by JJ today and it was the best tattoo experience I've ever had. The shop is super cool with a great atmosphere, Darlene is fun, nice, and great to work with, and JJ is an incredible artist. I was getting tattooed for about four hours and it was totally comfortable. JJ took my concepts and truly created beautiful tattoos. I will be going back to Prohibition again, no question. The overall experience was lovely!

Geoffrey did my very first tattoo back in October of 2020. They made sure I was comfortable and made sure I understood everything explained to me. I am very happy with my tattoo and can't wait to get enough money to get another one. Cause I will DEFINITELY be coming back to here for my second tattoo.

JJ has been my artist for a few years now and I can't imagine letting anyone else tattoo me ever again. him and his wife are both incredibly knowledgeable and hilarious, and they have one of the cleanest shops I've ever been to. I've never had a bad experience, never felt uncomfortable and am at the point where I just throw half-assed ideas JJ's way and let him work his magic, and I'm always stoked with whatever he draws up. I think I've only asked him to redraw two stencils out of the dozens he's drawn up for me. plus, the atmosphere of this shop is so calm and welcoming. it makes the experience of getting tattooed *almost* pleasant. 😁

There are a lot of choices when considering a tattoo artist. I recently went back for my second tattoo from JJ and both experiences were exceptional. Attention to detail, researching the subject so he completely understands what it is he will be working on, and most importantly being in a clean environment is why I chose to go to Prohibition Ink! And not to neglect mentioning what a great atmosphere and friendly group of people at Prohibition. JJ was instrumental in guiding me with the right decision for my tattoo.
