So glad I stopped by. Bobby is an exceptional tattoo artist who takes the time to make sure his clients are comfortable and happy entering and exiting this tattoo shop. Everyone was kind and good natured. This is definitely going down as my go-to tattoo shop and artist anytime I’m in San Antonio!

Sean was great on the phone when I called and getting me setup, my piercing artist Ashley was the kindest and sweetest, professional person who walked my wife and I thru the process, aftercare and change-out procedure. I will definitely Use Boardwalk and Ashley again in the future. Very clean and decorated location with pros at work… comfortable environment….. much love ❤️

Great place to get all your next tattoos! The people are friendly and talented. Abel is currently working on a big Polynesian piece for me that’s looking great! Mego did my half sleeve and it looks good too! I like this place and would recommend that anyone looking for ink, go here. I’ll post pics when I’m healed up!

abel was AMAZING !! he's really dedicated and puts in a ton of effort into his work. abel always made sure that i was doing okay as he was tattooing me and always kept an amazing conversation :)) his customer service was BEYOND amazing. my tattoo's turned out great and i ABSOLUTELY love them !! i would 10/10 come here again whenever we come visit Texas again !! i would definitely recommend going into here and checking it out, everyone working in the shop today was really nice an welcoming :))

My sister and I were walk in’s. The front desk was really nice and we were helped right away. Abel was our tattoo artist. He perfectly designed what we imagined! Abel was really nice and also executed the tattoo extremely well with really clean lines. The tattoo shop was super clean AND the pricing was incredibly reasonable. When we did interact with other artists they were also really nice. Highly recommend this shop because they did an amazing job on our tea cup and tea pot tattoos!

Came to store when they opened to get a tattoo or even get on the books. The workers just flopped around not helping. Customer service sucks! But again, who wants customer service when your getting a tattoo. Too bad. Very disappointed and sad that all this "hype" doesn't mean they can interact with you. Follow up - there was no "counter person" to help me. NO ONE showed us anything or offered to help with getting it scheduled. This is the shop by Goombas Pizza, by McFinnegans Pub. The place that SAYS BOARDWALK TATTOOS ON IT. Customer service starts the second someone enters the door. This place is rated top in San Antonio, which I really wanted to experience. Unfortunately, this was not the case. Just remember, whether helper, artist, manager or owner - EVERYONE plays a part of the whole. I came in right when opening because THAT was how I was advised to get this set up. I hope my unfortunate experience helps someone else to get a better experience. Top rated tattoo shop does not equal top rated customer service; although, it SHOULD.

Mars did an amazing job!!! He was just a super awesome dude to chat with anyways but made the entire experience enjoyable! Mars made sure we got exactly what we wanted and did an insane job on the actual tattoos!!!! Thanks guys for being so awesome!

The most amazing piercer ever! Rudy is best 😊 He took his time to make sure my piercing looked good and fit with my body. Awesome to talk to, made me feel comfortable and made sure I understood what he was doing and why. Definitely recommend! go to him if you need piercing. Great experience😁

Rudy had just gotten back from the store across the street and immediately greeted me when he came inside. He put his snacks down right away to get the paperwork started. At the counter, they have a list of the piercings they offer along with the price of each one which I found extremely helpful. I waited about 5 minutes while he set up and sterilized the jewelry. He marked and remarked the spot I was piercing a few times before we were both satisfied with the placement. He was more than happy to make sure it was EXACTLY where I wanted it. Rudy had a George Lopez comedy special playing in the background which was a fun distraction. The piercing was quick and overall painless. Rudy was SO KIND to give me water and a small snack after I began to feel faint. Rudy is THE BEST and I will ABSOLUTELY be returning to him for my next piercing.
