I’m from Memphis, & I have a tattoo shop there; obviously Memphis is a bit far to go every time I want a new tattoo. I have been searching for a good shop around town & none of them really felt right, until I called Boardwalk! I’ve never had a tattoo shop answer the phone & speak to me so politely & nicely. I set up my tattoo & my dad’s first ever tattoo with Bobby. He is AMAZING. He was very precise while doing both of our tattoos. The people I met where all very welcoming (which is new for me), & Bobby is G R E A T. The prices are reasonable, & they also have a very great healing process I have never seen before. I highly recommend!

It had been a while since my last piercing so I was incredibly nervous. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and we got the process rolling. High five was amazing. He talked me through the process and kept my mind off of being a ball of nerves. I will definitely be back for my next piercing.

I came into this shop in September 2020 to see about getting a piercing done. 1-2 other staff members saw me standing up front and asked if I had been helped yet. I responded that I had not. They informed me that the guy up front would be able to help me. After an hour maybe hour and a half (or at least it felt like it) of waiting, I finally just left. I know the guy saw me at least once because the staff was able to see that I was there and obviously didn't know anyone there to socialize.

Was super nervous to get my ears pierced today, but the piercer named High Five was very professional. He explained the procedures and was very comforting. After he finished my piercings he explained the after care really well! I really recommend this place 100% !

I highly recommend Shawn here at Boardwalk Tattoo...Im the type of person I like to give people a hard time and am not afraid to speak up about something, and he took my attitude like a champ..Totally Professional and happily through in ensuring my tattoo was placed and executed exactly to my likely..he never became impatient or offended if my vision didn't match his or if i was being picky or uncertain. His linework is definitely above average and he takes his time to ensure that. I have a few more tattoos I want to get that are more detailed and intricate than what I got today and price+attitude+execution came out to be the perfect balance of the whole experience.

The atmosphere was relaxing. I researched and read nothing but good reviews!!! I can definitely say no lies!!! I was immediately taken away by Abel’s art! Abe was very professional and make you feel soooo relaxed. Ladies nothing like a man would amazing hands❤️ This was my second experience in 10 years and I am returning for another bad bleeeep tat from this Guy!!! Ladies he’s actually hot!!! No disrespect😉 We will be back Abe!!! The mother and daughter duo😊

I came in to get a nose piercing to cover a keiloid and was pierced today by High Five (Brandon). He paid extreme attention to sterilization, and had a good bedside manner. I felt very comfortable with the experience and happy with the placement. My caveat would be that only after waiting 30 minutes, for another piercing to be done and my jewelry to be autoclaved, we we're informed that this was a cash only business. This isn't posted, at least not anywhere I saw; my husband had to go to an ATM to get the cash. But, Brandon did make it right in the price, which was acceptable. I would recommend this establishment for piercings, and return if I wanted another.
