If you have a specific artist in mind its always advised to call ahead for availability. Consultations are always free and you can view all of our artists portfolios on our website. We are proud to offer permanent cosmetics from artist Meghan McKelvey. Empire Tattoo studios are staffed to handle everything from daily walk in tattoos to custom artwork by appointment. Walked in one evening to get a tattoo for my dog who recently passed, got me right in and gave me exactly what I wanted. It’s perfect and the price wasn’t bad for it. Super friendly, clean, told me every step he was taking. I’ll definitrly be back for further tattoos!

I got my ear pierced here and two of them fell out after two weeks. I was told by another piercing shop it was because the earrings were too short and didn't account for swelling and at that small of a gage they shouldn't be threaded. On top of that the piercer told me I was getting a keloid and I should squeeze it, I called a place for a second opinion and they said I shouldn't never squeeze it. Lastly, I went to get my other two piercings redone and apparently the only one left was so crooked that they recommend I take it out and just redo all three.
Tl;dr
I paid to get three piercings, it didn't go well, I have to pay to get them redone all over again.

This place has the best artists in oakland. They're also really reasonably priced and their "get to know you" deals are awesome- $50 off a tattoo?!?! I'm not one for pricing but their jewelry selection has me rethinking it...

Angel is the best. I had a photo of what I wanted, but had some tweaks which I explained to her. She nailed it. Her line work is great. Plus she is a cool person and I was happy with the price.

This is the best tattoo shop ive been to in the Pittsburgh area. The cleanliness is that of a doctors or dentists office. The artists are by far the best and also very friendly and educated on their craft!
