Ol'girl that gave this shop a 1 star is tripp'in, let me assure you!! I had Sam (the aforementioned "girl tattoo artist who smelled like booze" and she gave me an awesome, clean tattoo of exactly what I wanted like she was in my head. She was so nice and chatted with me about everything and was NEVER rude or cocky whatsoever. I'd even go so far as to say I made a new friend that day (😉 ❤U Sam) I will absolutely go back for my next tattoo which will be a side piece and I'll be making my appointment with Sam, who did NOT smell like booze. That's just the words of someone who obviously wanted a quality shop to do a quality tattoo for a cheap price. That would be unfair to that shop since they have nothing but talent in there and at no time have I ever experienced rudeness from anyone there. I HIGHLY recommend Alley Cat Joe's and I have the utmost confidence that if you give them a shot, you will too!!! ✌

The best tattoo Artist I've ever had tattoos from. Family oriented, an the gentlest .....he did the Cancer symbol on the nap of my neck,outlined an colored in.....I was there 30 minutes enjoying conversation with his parents, sister,an wife while Joe was doing my tatoo. I didn't look at it until leaving when my husband had taken a picture of it, well when I seen it I busted into tears of joy, as I am a cancer survivor....immediately went back in to let him know how beautiful it is an how happy he made me,Joe came an had given me the biggest hug.....I recommend everyone don't go know where else for a tatoo.....Go to Alley Cat Joe......he's the best in every way.....thank you Joe .....you are the BEST

My husband and I stayed in holden beach for Our anniversary and he decided to get a tattoo there. We got over there and saw how false were the other reviews . the place was dirty and we didnt see either one the girl or the guy / owner worry about it too much. The portfolio was poor , there best pictures werent that great And alot on it has small pieces so nothing really fascinating . service wasnt professional and the prices were over priced for what we ask to get done . The girl artist werent nice and had a very arrogant attitude towards us and smelled like she got out of the bar .lets just say we never expressed our opinion or acted disgusted . Their both are not as experienced and were really pushy to make the mulla from us. As we left we heard how this place really runs we are glad that we are going to get it done in myrtle after all. Don't waste your time
