I went here for my first tattoo and Jason did an amazing job! He is super patient and explained everything he did so I knew what was going on. He was also very honest, which is an absolute must. Overall, it was the best first tattoo experience I could’ve imagined and I’m so glad I went to him! Will definitely be returning!

Jason and Lyndsey are some of the nicest people I’ve met. I came to get a memorial piece for my father that had passed and Jason has spent countless hours looking at photos and bringing this to life on me. He’s honestly been as excited as me during this whole process and has an obvious passion for this. His touch is soft and his detail and precision is amazing. I would highly recommend this place to every single person and this is the only tattoo shop in Des Moines I will ever go to. 11 out of 10 every time!

I just wanted to leave a review of my recent experience (yesterday!) with Twisted Ink! This was my second tattoo, but my first one with them. I traveled from out of town to go to them after reading good reviews online. I have to say that I was most definitely NOT disappointed! Not only were they the friendliest guys, but they made me feel so comfortable with the whole thing. He showed me their one-use only equipment, as well as the sanatize dates and expiration dates. He had a steady tattoing-hand as well as a light touch. He was focused and CONFIDENT in his work and stands by it. My grandma (who has been considering a tattoo) came with me and we just had the best time! It hardly took any time to do and I left SO happy! It was a design my husband and I made, and he brought it to life. I would definitely recommend them! He stands by his work, and his work deserves it! Oh, and I enjoyed the one-chair atmosphere. With only one artist in their building, it was so much more personable than ones with multiple chairs and customers at once.

AMAZING! Jeff did a wonderful job I am so glad I went here. Three different people told me to try here and I'm glad I listened. They're very accommodating and have insight and make you feel comfortable. The horseshoe was my mom's first tattoo! The butterfly dagger was a cover up and turned out better than imagined.
