I went into the Crimson Breed Tattoo Studio to get my first tattoo. I was trying to go over the price with the staff, which admittedly, were nice to me. I was going to get a pretty small tattoo, somewhat detailed tattoo on my left arm. The staff told me the tattoo would take two-four hours. But here is the problem, they told me that I would need to put a $60 deposit before getting the tattoo, and then I will have to pay $120 an hour. This pricing was completely different from others that have gone to the same location for their tattoo. A coworker that I work with went to the tattoo studio and paid ONLY $80 for a tattoo that was larger than the one I was going to get. I called other tattoo places around Bloomington where they informed me that that price should not have been offered to me for it was ridiculous for the tattoo I was getting. During the time, I did put down the $60 deposit. But I was unable/unwilling to pay $120 an hour for a pretty small tattoo. Therefore I informed them through Facebook that I didn’t want it. I wasn’t offered a refund or anything. The staff was nice and the place is definitely clean. But I also believe the staff took advantage of me not knowing tattoo pricing at that time.

Yesterday I went with my sister-in-law to get tattoos and I was very nervous because the last place I went had done a bad job on my siblings tattoo. Not only did Crimson Breed do an AMAZING job, they also fixed my siblings tattoo that the other place messed up. The place was very clean and all of the people were very friendly!!! I can't wait to have them do my next one :)
