George did my tattoo super quickly since it was in such a painful spot. I brought in a pic of exactly what I wanted and we discussed size and placement. The wait wasn't too bad for a walk in - all in all I'm very happy! Thanks :)

This is literally the only tattoo shop in Chicago that has walk-ins during Covid. They have a ton of staff there, which is nice and they work fast and efficient. If you’re going to walk in though, go during the day on a week day or you will have a long wait. I got a broccoli outline tattooed on me which I love and think is perfect. My friend got a tomato tattoo and hers seemed super rushed and the lines are a little wonky. I guess it just depends what artist does your tattoo. They worked fast and had no problem creating a stencil out of the design I made. I enjoyed it and think it was worth their $100 minimum. I would recommend!

I had the pleasure of getting tattooed here over the course of a few days after waiting out the pandemic and the experience more than met my expectations. The studio is very big, neat, clean, and the staff is very nice. The artist I worked with (Technique) did a few amazing tattoos for me and I'm looking forward to going back for more.

I have gotten 5 tattoos and 1 piercing here so far. This is a classic tattoo shop. They have been around for a very long time and know what they are doing. They have plenty of samples of things on the walls, a lot of people will bring images on their phones. I have even brought printed pieces of paper. You don't have to jump through consultation appointments for anything but large tattoos, and if you are looking for a place to form a deep emotional bond with your tattooist, this is not the place for you.

I recently went to get #4 and #5 done. They have Covid saftey measures in place. They are always busy so I recommend calling/emailing ahead to make an appointment. You can drop in but you are going to have to wait as those who made appointments go first. This goes for non-pandenic times as well.

They are handicap friendly. Super clean facility. And the golden rule there, if you come in under the influence, you won't get tattooed, it is the law.

Have gotten a couple tattoos from this place, brought in my own designs (I'm an illustrator) and they were both extremely simple. Got paired with a guy who brilliantly botched them. Didn't follow my lines, the lines are all wobbly and crooked and uneven--I don't want to be mean but my 4 year old niece draws better. Went in a second time and the same exact guy picked my name out (he remembered me and also probably remembered that I tip well.) I was too shy to ask for another artist and thought I would give him a second chance only to be botched even worse the second time. I wish I could reference his name but he's not even on their website.

One of the tattoos is getting lasered, working on finding a cover up artist for the other one. Wish I had known about their reputation before--when I tell my new artists where I got them done, they laugh when they hear the name tattoo factory and say they've never heard of anything good come out of here.

If you're getting permanent art on your body, PLEASE research your artists beforehand. Tattoos here are not only terrible, but overpriced, and even MORE overpriced considering I have to get cover ups and laser.

Mike did a fantastic job on my tattoo. He listened to what I wanted and put a little twist to it. I absolutely love it.

Jenny was an amazing piercer! She made me feel comfortable (I was a nervous gal), was quick, clean, and kind. I highly recommend her and the whole shop and cannot wait to come back!

Love that they're open early-ish, peircers are in by 11am. Wasn't crowded, no wait time, very clean, peircer was friendly and supportive. I read conments about not being given long enough jewelry for the nose piercing to accommodate swelling, my jewelry is def long enough.
