I would not recommend this tattoo studio to anyone and if you do go, do not have work done by Andrew Hanson. The entire experience was a nightmare in retrospect. To start off the artist almost outright refused to do the design that I wanted and basically pushed me into doing the design his way which was completely different from the style of tattoo I actually wanted. I got two hand tattoos and he putmention, when I told him what had happened, he thought I was out of ear shot, I overheard him and another the employee loudly laughing about it. He put the wrong design on the wrong hand even though I had told him no less than 7 times where the designs were to be placed, including 3 times the day of the tattoo. Not to mention, ;The 1st hand, was mostly good work, besides him having placed it on the wrong hand, however he rushed through the second tattoo and messed it up pretty bad. It was supposed to be a lion that was 3D and the finished product was a 2D lion with a messed up, undefined nose, crooked, short, umcurved teeth and to be honest, it looks more like a lion with downs syndrome; you can barely tell that it is supposed to be a lion. On top of that, he didn't add any of the white highlights that I told him I wanted to give the tattoo more depth, clarity and the 3D look I was going for. Despite all of this, I was willing to give him a chance to fix his work, but when I p, told him what it was with the tattoo that I had a problem with (I was much kinder when I spoke to him than I have been in this review) he got emotional about it and flew off the handle and got rude, sarcastic and condescending and blamed all the mistakes in the tattoo on me. He has refused to finish the tattoo and we had agreed on a price and he refuses any type of partial compensation due to the fact that the tattoo is in fact not finished and he also refused to do any touch ups after the tattoo heals, and we all know touch ups are commonplace in the tattoo industry. His ego was damaged because he made some fixable mistakes and it was far more important to him to be a confrontational jerk than to accept accountability for his errors and stand behind his work and to ensure client satisfaction. Unless you like not receiving the type of design and quality you expect, I would never recommend in good conscience going to this establishment, but bare, minimum don't have Andrew (Andy) do your tattoo work for you.

Awesome staff! Very friendly and willing to help with design ideas. Best tattooing experience I have had yet, very clean, very professional but still laid back. All the work I have seen done here speaks for its self.

Lucky is down to earth, a great conversationalist and has an impressive portfolio. That being said, Lucky lacks punctuality, professionalism, quality and customer satisfaction. After no response for weeks via email to schedule consult, I called shop to schedule consult in September 2020. Late October 2020 fiancΓ©e and I went in for appointment and waited for an hour for Lucky to come out from the back room unprepared despite details discussed during consult, pictures being sent and deposit and had to sketch the work. Advised Lucky in consult that I had to go to work right after and had to rush to work right after to barely get to work on time. November 2020 fiancΓ©e, sister and myself went in for a neon logo piece. 30 - 45 minutes late starting due to Lucky unprepared again. After tattoo healed I noticed that there were spots that colors crossed over line work and that the neon glow effect needed touch up. Figured it could be fixed on future touch up appointment. Went in today 12/26/2020 for memorial tatoos. One for a family member and one for my dog that passed away. I told manager that I needed to talk to Lucky when he arrived regarding the work today. Manager advised me that Lucky was in the back and would be out to talk to me and then left. 30 minutes after appointment time manager came back and I again requested to speak to Lucky as I had decided to cancel the piece for the family member due to family matters and that I was still getting the piece for my dog. The manager went to the back and then returned to the front. Lucky then came out and as employees started coming in he chatted with them for a few minutes while not acknowledging me despite waiting there for 30 minutes. Lucky then called me over to discuss. I explained my situation and we went over details on the piece for my dog. I told Lucky that the paw prints needed to be precise for this piece and chose one of the 2 options he laid out on the counter for lettering for my dog's name. I chose one and told him the details I needed changed like the size of the lettering and the paws coming in closer and he said no problem. Then I told Lucky I needed to know when we could do some touch up work on the neon logo tattoo. That's when Lucky's demeanor changed and he got defensive. Lucky asked what needed to be touched up. I showed him the spots where the color went over the line work. Lucky responded with "I don't know what you're talking about." "I don't see anything." "Put your foot on my leg and show me where." I told him I didn't want to put my shoes on his pants and get him dirty but showed him the spots and described what I was talking about. Lucky then said "You're really gonna point something out that small?" Stood up and said "You should go stand over there" pointed toward the customer seating, turned his back on me and said "I'm really irritated right now." Surprised at his reaction, I said "Um, really? Lucky turned around and said "You know what, I don't need this, you need to leave." I said "Wow." and left. If you claim to be a tattoo artist for 20 + years and you treat customers this way, IT IS UNACCEPTABLE! Instead of honoring your touch up policy and fixing your mistakes to leave your customer satisfied on something permanent on their skin, with something as simple as coloring in the lines, you kick them out of your shop? Not sure if Lucky didn't want to spend time on touch up or if it has to do with arrogance, but I think I just dodged a memorial piece being ruined. I'll find a decent tattoo artist to fix the mistakes that are already done and move forward future work at a more professional establishment. BUSINESS AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Never going here again! They canceled on me an hour before my tattoo appointment and I had paid my deposit and wouldn't reschedule! Gave me nothing but attitude and I've never felt so disrespected. I went to living skin instead in Spokane valley and they were amazing and charged less for way better work! If you want entitled jerks with no talent then go to artful dodger

The piercer (Monica @trashpandapiercer on Instagram) is the only person I trust in the area of piercings. Extremely knowledgeable and the consideration and anatomy checking for compatibility, and aesthetic look/relation to any others is amazing. Also got some work by Amanda Boik and they've been healing extremely well and I absolutely love them. Other staff seems super friendly and knowledgeable as well based off of the interaction I've had. Probably one of the best shops in the area.
