I scheduled an appointment Thursday evening to get a tattoo Friday at 6pm. I showed up Friday for my appointment & someone (I’m assuming owner or manager) told me that because their air conditioning had broke, all artist were supposed to cancel all appointments that day & reschedule so I wasn’t going to be able to get my tattoo. I completely understand that had someone contacted me prior to me showing up. To make matters worse, they tried to contact the artist for me via phone call & text. He never responded. I also texted him & have yet to hear anything. So unprofessional & disrespectful of other people’s time

I don't know how tattooing is done here but don't ever go here for a piercing! I came in to get my medusa done; I was so excited about it that I didn't take a second to look at how crooked and missplaced it was. It's ridiculous! She was a very nice lady and I don't know if it was her MS or bad aiming that messed up my piercing but I am very dissatisfied.

Super friendly and clean. Jessica was a sweetheart and an excellent artist. Tattoo work looks awesome, exactly what I had hoped for. I will be returning for more work very soon.

Quite awhile ago I thought about trying a new tattoo shop so I went in and got one of the certificates for a tattoo where if you pay 100 or more they match the value, so I got $480 on a certificate and met with one of the artists (Jason I think?) and gave him several pictures outlining what I wanted to get done. This was in November. I had to bother him weekly to see if he'd drawn up my tattoo yet. He kept dodging me until about January when he finally "drew up" my tattoo I requested. It was nothing like what I requested and it looked like it took him maybe three minutes. I assume it was to get me to stop messaging him. I was sick of waiting around and being avoided so I listed the certificate online and sold it to someone else. I was really disappointed to say the least.

Was pierced by Amilie. First off she had nothing but negative things to say about the prior piercer that worked there, which is very unprofessional, and then of course in the same breath she spoke very highly of herself. Red Flag: I should’ve walked out right then.
Prior to the piercing I asked if she could order 11 of the same hoops so that all of my current ear piercings including this new one would match. Of course she said yes, money for her.
I had specific requests regarding the jewelry she was ordering for me. What I currently had (captive hoops) were not working for me b/c the balls kept coming out and my long hair kept getting caught in the hoops. She said she would order a great hoop for me that would fix the problem, look nice and not allow for my hair to ever get caught in the hoops again. After she shows me an example, which in her words is “very similar to this one” I agreed and so she ordered them.
The jewelry has come in so I am now sitting in her chair. I think about it now and I should have asked to see them up close...she only had them in her hand in the baggie. She never offered for me to see them, shame on me for trusting her.
She starts replacing the jewelry and as she is working she is dropping all of my old captive balls on the ground... guess I am not getting my old jewelry back. No big deal to her. She didn't pay for them. Then she has the gall to say “These new ones I have for you aren’t cheap like the ones you have”...WOW.. How degrading. So get this, I asked where she gets her jewelry from and guess what.....it’s the same freaking local place I purchased all of my ‘cheap captive hoops’ from!!!! Right?! Wow, just WOW!!
At this point I just kept my mouth shut as I just wanted to get pierced and get the F out of there. After all she has talked herself up so much. I figure even though she has no couth, maybe she can actually pierce. What I should have done was just left.
She gives me a mirror and I notice two things.
First, some of the hoops are hanging weird and at an angle from my ear. I point it out and of course she blames this on the person who originally pierced them, said they were done wrong... but the old 'cheap' captive hoops never hung like that. The old 'cheap' ones looked nice, they were all vertical. These did not look nice, they were hanging in all directions like she bent them.
Second, and most importantly, every new hoop isn’t closed all of the way -yep my hair was going to get caught, my main concern for replacement- I mentioned this and she said “oh I’ll fix it, I left them that way on purpose”. .. okay, that's a bit weird....She then ‘quickly fixed’ them and moved on to the piercing.
I figured she wouldn’t put a hoop in my newly pierced ear that wouldn’t close, catch hair and pull the fresh piercing .....Boy was I wrong.
Pffft.
So short story long, she puts shotty defective hoops, with no indentation in the soldered ball so they won’t ‘click in’, in my ears and she knows this and pretends like everything is okay and sends me out the door.
I don't feel right b/c of the way she was acting when I called her out on the closing of the hoops so when I get home I look closer and yep EVERY SINGLE HOOP- all 11 of them- THAT SHE REPLACED IS NOT CLOSED including the new piercing....ugh... and every single hoop is catching my hair.... including the new piercing..AND I don’t get any of my old jewelry back.
Amilie knew exactly what she did and she pretended like nothing went wrong. She could have acknowledged that the jewelry was defective, which was not her fault, and I would have been okay with waiting for the correct jewelry but in the end she got greedy. She could have made it right but she chose not too. Its a shame.
Do NOT trust AMILIE.
I WOULD NOT recommend Amilie to anyone!!

My friend and I went in to get a nose piercing on Friday the 13th. We waited 6 hours before we saw the piercer Laura. After the 6 hours, Laura comes in crying, obviously in some type of emotional distress (Which we dismissed because we knew she had been working all day and there was a big line for the 13th). We casually talked for 30 minutes before her friend walked in and Laura talked about how she was "too sober" and she "did know if what she was saying made sense." Almost in disbelief we sat there and waited as she continued to move forward. She stuck the needle in her nose, and continued to put the hoop in. When she went to clamp the hoop, her hand slipped and she made a big gash in my friend's nose. She began crying as her nose was gushing blood. After the blood was mostly cleaned up, Laura continued to try clamping the ring shut. She kept telling my room mate to "stop crying because it was making her eyes blur." A few days later, I called the store and tried to tell the employee that answered what happened while he replied "so what do you want me to do about it?" He clearly couldn't have cared less and didn't even ask if she was okay. I never been more terrified and uncomfortable in a situation. If you are looking for a piercing, and don't want a big hole instead, resurrected is not the place to go.

First off, I lucked out getting the ability for a walk in after making a phone call, some might say $200 is steep for a quick ink, but it was worth it to me. Cavan, thanks for the shred and doing my "Djed" on short notice.
