I have been in dozens of and dozens of tattoo shops in the USA and I must say, this is the cleanest,most well ran shop I've ever seen, Always plenty of top quality artist available. Great pricing , remember when it comes to body art you get what you pay for. This place can't be beat!!!

Terrible work! Artists are not at all competent. My wife has a daith piercing that came out because only a small portion of skin was pierced. She also has horrible scaring because of a tattoo that was over-worked. I got a tattoo the same day and I had to stop the first artist because he had no idea what he was doing; this is not an exaggeration. The Shop Owner had to come and finish my tattoo, and we had to completely change the tattoo to fix what had been put onto my body.

I recently got my second tattoo last week, I gave them a chance because I heard they were pretty good. the atmosphere was alright not really too personal like where I got my first tattoo at which was firehouse.I liked my tattoo at first now that it is healing its ugly and I really don't like it. I felt she rushed and didn't take her time at all. I would not send people there and I will never come back for another tattoo.

Despite what some of the reviews have state, this is a great shop and the best shop in Valdosta. Many of the reviews posted here are by people that have had a negative experience because they requested terrible bullshit tattoos. I have several high end painting quality pieces as does my wife that have come from this shop and I have also seen many other fantastic tattoos from here.
Several years ago, when these reviews were posted, several artists who now work at The Brass Quill worked here. And yes, they are quite bad.

Worst experience ever. If you do decide to go to this shop at least ask for anyone besides Brittney Altman. But even then you’re still taking a huge risk. Honestly I have seen crack houses that were more sanitary.
