Mine Shaft Tattoo & Piercing

This place is incredible. I got my first tattoo here, and I will be getting all future tattoos here. The whole place is really clean and professional. I was really impressed with how much attention went into being as clean as possible, and the incredible amount of detail that went into my tattoo of a broccoli, haha. Gina Phillips at Mine Shaft is INCREDIBLE. She was so professional, but also felt like a long time friend. She went over all the steps my piercings involved, answered all my questions, and even showed me how to take care of my piercings for healing, along with a care info sheet to take home. She made sure I saw everything was new and clean. She is so kind and warming, I am so thankful I was lead to Gina to do my piercings. It’s been some time now after I’ve gotten them, and they are healing without any interruptions or pain. The least I can say is I love Gina lol, she is so cool and I would trust her over and over again to give me any piercing. I recommend Mine Shaft to everyone!!

Jesse is a really talented artist. It really goes beyond being a good tattooer. He's able to pull any ideas you have together and make it look great. I highly recommend the shop, I make the almost two hour drive just for the shop. Cody who works upfront is a rad dude too. I highly recommend the shop. I've gotten four tattoos here, and they all look great! I will continue to go.

While in town visiting and after much research, I chose Gina Phillip's to due my helix piercings. The shop was very clean and has a super peaceful vibe going on which I loved! Gina and the whole staff were very professional and very knowledgeable. They took their time and answered all of my questions and never made me feel rushed at all. Gina has an extra special service at her shop that was super cool! She anodized my 3 titanium earrings in house and I got to watch the whole process which was even cooler! I highly recommend Gina! I live 5 hours away but will definitely never let anyone else pierce me! Thanks again Gina!

I got my first tattoo here on December 31st, 2017 from Jesse Phillips. It was a fantastic experience! He was careful, cleanly, and personable. There was little confusion about the process and cleaning after. I got exactly what I wanted at a very reasonable price and I could not be happier. If anyone asks for someone and somewhere to get a tattoo, Mine Shaft would be at the top of the list! Attached is a photo of my tattoo, now virtually healed after the 2 week care period.

Fantastic experience with Gina this morning! She was professional and thorough with all of the piercing before and after care. Everything was clean and explained very well. Cherry on top was just how kind and personable she and her husband were! Gina made me feel so comfortable and we laughed a lot! I certainly found my new piercing and tattoo shop.

I had gone to Mine Shaft yesterday to get my septum pierced, and it was a piercing that I had been waiting a long time to be able to get done. The piercer, Gina, was extremely nice and welcoming when it was time for me to go back for the piercing. She took me step by step on how it works and every precaution they had to take. Before hand, she had mentioned that my nose was on the smaller side, and that she had to feel around to see what the best placement for me would be. She was super down to earth, and helped me stay calm throughout the whole session. 10/10 would recommend everyone to come see her for any of your future piercings! They will always have my business anyday!

Oh, I so love it when I can do one like this! If you're going for a piercing which is what I did just a simple piercing I had not been wearing my earrings often and one of my earlobes closed up no fun when you're wanting to wear some bling however let's get back. Mine Shaft Tattoo and Piercing is the go-to place for piercing. Let me add this I'm a wimp a big wimp I feel anything and I must say I felt nothing during the piercing absolutely nothing. Now I know this is a bit more then what I normally do but I'm going to give a big shout out to Gina she is awesome! just follow her instructions on how to breathe do it exactly as she instructs you and trust me you're not going to fill it or at least I didn't but I do that same breathing when going to get injections at the doctor's office which happens to be on a monthly basis I know TMI. And from the tattoos that I saw I must say very nice. Have not experienced that at this time nor, have one but if I can talk my twin into it I will drive her there. They are working only by appointment at this time. However they are open till I believe 8:00 at night I do recommend discussing that with them so they do cater to the business working class folks who don't get off until 5:00. And the establishment was very clean and neat and sanitary which is what you would want. It was like I had known Gina all my life so easy to talk to and communicate with. Answered all my questions even sent me home with the how to care for list! Oh and because I was a good girl I got a treat ...... ( chocolate ). For being a very good patient LOL. They're establishment does face the main road when driving through Helen on the right not far down from the golf course, front door does face that main road they're on the very end nice parking.
