Going hear was like going to a friends house! Everybody was warm and welcoming and it was a great experience. My artist there was Lex and she’s done some fantastic work and overall I have a great experience with her! I love how all the artists work well with each other there as well! I would totally recommend going to this shop!

I love this shop! The artists are amazingly talented. (Shout out to Bryan!) The atmosphere is fun. But the thing that makes me a life-long fan & customer is the professionalism and genuine care for their customers. Once while I was getting a tat done another customer came in who was quite clearly under the influence and in no shape to get a tattoo.
The customer was treated with respect and care while being refused service. This person was offered food, water, and also use of the couch for a nap. A taxi ride was also offered. This wasn't just done to protect the business from a lawsuit. If you heard the genuine concern for this person's welfare that was said out of earshot you would also know it is not just about the business, it's all about the customers in this shop.

I have been going to see Ricky for a few years now and hands down has done the best work I’ve seen! The shop is very clean and everyone there if friendly and down to earth. You feel like your at home when you go there. Love my horror sleeve tattoo that he’s been working on. Keep up the awesome work and I’ll see you next month!!! I got a Tattoo done by Ricky Borchert. Place was Clean, Professional, and with great Art. I love the Atmosphere and energy that the who studio gives out. Everyone of the staff is knowledgeable and they totally exceeded my expectations. I've been to many shops over the years and I must say this is a 5 star tattoo shop. I love the look and aesthetic of their shop and the diversity of styles that they bring forth. Ricky was on time, super awesome and worked out all the details on my tattoo and I couldnt be happier. I am so glad to have found Black Hatchet. They have done great work on my husband and myself. They were able to repair 2 of our tattoos that had seen better days. They also gave us some great new works of art. I can't wait to get another one from them.

Jess is amazing! She has started a big leg piece on me (sailor moon!!!) and due to the pandemic and my hectic schedule since, I haven’t been able to get back for color, but I can’t wait to do so! She was clean and professional and patient! Such talent in that place! Kudos to all the hard working artists! If you haven’t been inked by them yet, please do yourself a favor!

The friendliest tattoo shop I’ve ever been in. So clean, so professional, always welcoming and accommodating. Lex is awesome and easily one of the nieces human beings on the planet- gave me some awesome little Friday the 13th flash. The artists in the shop are very diverse in terms of style and you truly can’t go wrong!
