Got my cartilage pierced here with Matty. He did an amazing job with the piercing — I almost didn’t feel it. Lots of clear, useful tips for aftercare too. I lost the back to my piercing too, and he helped me put a new one back on and didn’t charge me a thing. Great service, cool place, amazing people.

Top notch! Took my daughter to get her nose pierced, she was SO nervous but felt very comfortable as soon as she got in the chair. Mati was very professional and knew his stuff.
Eric is currently working on an arm sleeve for my husband. He sticks to his appointment times, very professional, clean and EXTREMELY talented.
You can tell the whole team loves what they do.

I've been getting my tattoos done here for about a year now. This is the third place I've gotten work done and will not go anywhere else. The hard work, professionalism yet personable artists and staff are like none other. They even have an annual cookout with free food and beer for customers. Happy to say that over time these folks have become more than just artist/customer but have become friends. Great service and work!

I walked in to get a small tattoo as a tribute to a relative and was given a really bad attitude and turned away. I’m an artist doesn’t matter how small or big the job I still execute cause it’s how I keep my business. And if I can’t do it I’m kind about my words. The gentle man who assisted me was not nice I believe his name was maddy. Never again I was recommended here by fellow tattoo lovers and never again will I ever speak nicely on this spot.

got my first tattoo here, and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Incredibly kind staff, were really open to helping me figure out what was best for me to get. Am definitely going back here for number 2 in the future!! Would absolutely recommend to others seeking to get quality stuff without having to break the bank

Amazing atmosphere and really kind staff. Darius is so calm and really makes sure that what you get tatted is what you want. Matty who does piercings and works in the front is also amazing. I had a great experience and will definitely be coming back for all my tattoos

Update: I've been coming here for 2 years. As I write this I am currently waiting to get my 5th tattoo by Jeste. He did a fox for me, which ultimately led me to get my crow and Joker and Harley pieces. His portrait / gray scale work is impeccable.

I had my first tattoo at 19 at another shop and the guy was so heavy handed I ached for a week. It took me over a decade to come back to a shop and only at the behest of a friend who highly recommended this shop. I love my tattoos and get compliments on them all the time.

The artists are also mid range - no $250/hour nonsense here. Just crazy good talent. Darius does traditional work that's out of this world good too. Rob does beautiful detailed pieces and I believe color work. There's different style artists here and they won't just take a tattoo to make money. They'll happily refer you to someone in the shop who will do it best or tell you what will make it better. I can't say enough good things about this place. Definitely stop by, but don't hope for same day. Most of them book out several months in advance.

I've now been to Keys on Kites for 3 of my tattoos. One small calf piece, and two large thigh pieces - all done by Jeste Gloria. He does black and white portrait type work and to say he is talented doesn't even cover it. I've received an insane number of compliments on the level of detail and lifelike quality of them. He is meticulous as hell and super soft hand. I don't walk away sore and aching for days. He's also really concerned with each of his clients and making sure that what you want is in his wheel house - and if it's not who in the shop can. All super nice guys - Darius and the others - very welcoming and don't make you feel put off. Highly recommended.

Do not go here if you have brown or dark skin. I got my first tattoo less than one year ago. My tattoo now looks very old, muddy, and washed out. I went back to see if it could be fixed and was told that the tattoo artist who did it lived in another country and was never employed there (which would have been good to know beforehand). Another employee tried to tell me that I did not have blowout and that it was really "capillary spread," and he offered to fix it for full price. I was informed by a tattoo artist at another shop that it could not be fixed, only covered up.

The employees were very friendly, though.

Keys on Kites is the only place I trust. Every experience there has been professional, super clean and the staff really listens. They took the time to understand what I wanted, they gave me honest input on my tattoo and made sure I was comfortable with what we were doing before we started as well as during. The entire staff is awesome. Can't reccomend them enough!

I just got a helix cartillage piercing this week and Matti (hopefully I spell it right) was my piercer. I got there 2 mins late and he didn’t have to wait. He took care of me and some paperwork (protocol) right away. The piercing’s room was all clean. He followed the guidance and took time to explain how I’ll take are of the piercing at home until it heals. I’m glad I chose them and I’ll be back for another service. I’d def recommend them for anything tattoos and piercings. And oh I didn’t even feel like I got a piercing cause it didn’t hurt at all. It was just like someone pinched me and left. Lol.
