Mixing Pigment
Getting a tattoo is personal, yet getting a significant moment of your life put into art form and then tattooed on your body is something far more than just personal. Zach in my opinion, understands this and has always taken the time to craft the artwork carefully and be sure the entire experience is exactly what you would hope for and expect. With this in mind, It doesn’t hurt that he’s one of the best artists around. This all adds up to the perfect combination for an insanely talented tattoo professional.
A word to wise, don’t just choose the tattoo, choose the artist!

Have been working on a full back piece that is also a cover-up with John E. He is so talented, and professional! As a woman I have always felt safe and comfortable, which was so important to me. He is consistent, collaborative, and willing to meet you where you are at. I am so fortunate to get this piece done at Dark Light Studios with John. 3 sessions down, one to go!

Zach is very talented. But asking for pre-payment for a future session *in addition to* a $200 deposit (after they need to cancel the original session, no less) is a huge red flag for me — no matter how one tries to justify it and even if it’s “optional”. It’s sketchy and unprofessional. I'm not going to let someone get near me with ink after that much sus.
I still have the voicemail where it was asked of me to pay upfront -- it had nothing to do with discounted gift certificates but that's a clever cover story! Again, $200 dollar deposits from every client who books several months in advance -- where did that money go. There's always an excuse with him... If I hadn't been cancelled on in the past as well (without any notification,) I might be more likely to believe. And I'm willing to bet the other artists pay plenty of rent.
I'd still like my exorbitant deposit back. Thanks.

I feel like I’m in great hands with Zach! He is professional, and incredibly talented. The new studio is clean, comfortable, and decorated with local art which rotates to keep things fresh. Highly recommend!!

All the guys were super nice the place was very clean I was very happy with it!! Even the bathroom was so clean and a bit fancy! And My artist Shiloh was able to concentrate and have a conversation with me while I was nervous about getting a new tattoo! Definitely helped so I didn’t have to focus on the pain!! 😂 If I could give them 20 stars I would!!

Really loved the vibe in this shop. I’ve only worked with one artist here and she was fantastic but everyone else seems super talented and chill. I definitely plan on going back here for more work in the future.

Horrible. I paid way too much and he didn't even finish it. It's pretty good but there are serious mistakes and it should have at least been completed for the price. He took way to long everyone I have talked to said they could have done it in 4 hours and he took 7 and still wasn't done. I'm going to have to pay someone to do a serious touch up. It's embarrassing when people laugh at you for how much you paid and it's not even done. And I still tipped $200 outta common courtesy.
