walked in last night with no expectations just looking to get a nose hoop closed. ended up with 3 new piercings & met one of the best piercers i’ve ever had the delight of meeting. adam is a master of his craft and this should be on the top of piercing lists in the area. could not be happier with my new piercings

Went in to get my tragus and daith jewelry switched out. The experience was phenomenal and the piercers were so patient with my daith piercing that was very much stuck. They ended up getting it out!
Everyone here is so kind and welcoming. First studio I have ever been in where I didn’t feel like a bother to the piercers or anyone else I talked with. I highly recommend this shop!

I got a beautiful Monroe piercing from Adam! I will never, ever get peirced from anyone other than him now. Not only was the peircing amazing, he talked me through the entire process, he holds a fantastic conversation, and was overall a really sweet person- this was my first real piercing and he totally calmed my anxiety around it. Not only that, Darklight is a nice place, and the atmosphere was amazing. Everything was clean and sterile. Amazing people, extremely reasonable prices, overall amazing.
Seriously, if you aren't going to get a peircing here- what are you even doing? Go say hi to Adam, you won't regret it.

Tried to get a tattoo done here, but where I asked for a 6 in piece Zach drew up a full back tattoo, and my appointment kept getting delayed until the point where it was eventually going to happen more than six months after my original appointment, which I scheduled almost a year out. When I tried discussing this with them over email, I was ignored. I would not recommend coming to this studio as I was left out 200$ and had an overall negative experience.
Edit: can’t respond to comments so I thought I’d do it here to call out lies by the person claiming I’m lying, I have email evidence of communication scheduling an appointment during July 2020 for a tattoo on 1/11/21, which last I checked was six months, guess we both can’t figure out how a calendar works. I didn’t ask for an intricate design, I gave a picture that was somewhat similar to something I wanted and asked for something around 6in in size in Zach’s style, this was then blown into what Zach said would be a piece with a “ten inch minimum.” Also crazy how you emailed me after this review was posted but never responded after I replied to your email.
