Typically don’t leave reviews but this place was above and beyond my expectations. The artist and staff were BEYOND nice and the shop was very clean and professional. Of all my tattoos this has been by far the best service and experience. Would recommend this place time and time again. Definitely go here if you’re looking for a good tattoo!

Brea is blaming me for being allergic to her tattoo ink and saying I'm not taking care of it right even though I'm following the instructions SHE GAVE ME she has over all been very rude and snotty towards me and she is extremely heavy handed the tattoo she did on my arm hurts worse than my SPINE TATTOO, and legit all the tattoo she did is lettering!! I had numbing cream on it too before the appointment which she said was fine to do! Over all very disappointed in how im being treated if i could give 0 stars i would

I only had my first session with Don today, but just from the line art, it is AWESOME. He has a real gentle hand, the tattoo barely hurt, and its just the line art. I can't wait to get it finished!

Shelly Dungan is awesome. I've been going to her for a year now. I looked at most of the well known artists work and I kept coming back to Shelly's portfolio. She truly has a passion for art not just putting ink on someones arm. Her art sells itself. The most professional tattoo shop I've been to. Great atmosphere.

Art in Motion Tattoo is the best tattoo parlor in Colorado Springs. I have been going to them for the last 5 years. Don Davis (owner/artist) has been working on my art since the day I walked into his shop and I could not imagine going to any other shop to have art done. I highly recommend Don Davis as an artist and Art in Motion as your choice for new art. There is no tattoo shop in Colorado Springs that even comes close. Sanitation is paramount, the shop is always supremely clean. Body art is a permanent decision, make sure you choose your artist wisely! You will not regret going to Art In Motion!

I'm in the military and have been inked all over the country. When I got here a couple years back, I did a lot of research for a good shop and a great artist. One of the best ways I judge a shop is by the work. I ran into a few people with outstanding work and they got their pieces from Don. His finished work is the beset reference! I've been going to him and suggesting his shop to everyone thats interested in getting some ink. My friends that I suggested go there love the work he and Bobby have done on them! Whenever I leave the Springs, I'll probably come back solely to have Don do more work on me.
One thing I've learned - Good tattoos aren't cheap and cheap tattoos aren't good. I recommend his shop to anyone!!!!
