After much dread and trepidation while conducting a seemingly endless search of tattoo parlors up and down I-25, I ended up calling Art in Motion to talk about my next tattoo concept. And I’m so glad I did. From the initial phone call to my first consult and through my first session with Mark, I can say the service and professionalism was solid and first class.
Of all the tattoo parlor choices that are available in the local area, it truly does pay to go to a tried and true establishment like Art in Motion. I can say the reassurance and relaxation during the tattoo process often overlooked and hard to put a price on. Mark was, in short, awesome and I highly recommend working with him. I can also say that the rest of the staff was very cool and laid back during my visit. There was an apparent open and supportive team among the artists which was very comforting as well.
You will surely be able to find less expensive options but you’ll be hard pressed to find the expertise and quality provided by Art in Motion.

Brea did my a tattoo on my leg and it is the best tattoo I have, she did such an amazing job on it. Everything about the experience was amazing from start to finish. Getting tattooed by her is fun, the healing process went really well and it healed perfectly. I am definitely going to get a lot more tattoos from her in the future.

I researched a lot of shops in town before deciding to go to Art in Motion and I am SO glad that I chose this shop! The focus in this shop is QUALITY... body art is permanent, and I appreciate that the artists take pride in their work and do not rush the tattoo just to get another body in the chair. And if you want the most talented artists... then this is the place to go. Don did my first tattoo and I get compliments on it every single day. Bobby is working my second tattoo and I swear it looks like I'm wearing a painting. Truly gifted artists.
I have been to this shop three times now, with my fourth visit already scheduled in three weeks. Every time I go I am more impressed with how clean the shop is, how professional the people are, and how fantastic the art is that walks out of the place. I will never go anywhere else...

The best tattoo artists in Colorado Springs. Shelly, Don, and Mark are all artists before anything else, which means your ink here will be created, placed, and shaded perfectly. Everyone here is also super friendly and understand that each person they work with is unique-their art will exceed every expectation. I've had about 12 hours with Shelly done so far and I'll never go to someone else as long as she's still in the business. Go in to the shop and talk to them instead of calling in-you're going to be thrilled with your tattoos here.

Today I was working with Don, for over four hours for a cover-up of a very old tattoo. Not only did Don take the time to work with me to start to cover this old unwanted tattoo he never rushed me and I feel as if I have made a friend in Don. It was a great experience and have a couple more sessions to get the tattoo I have wanted for years. Very very clean environment and no stress felt at all. Everyone that came in to get a tattoo felt right at home alone with myself. I have other friends who have used Art In Motion Tattoo and ALL of them are beyond happy. Thanks Don and your entire staff.
