Black Serum Tattoo

Wonderful experiences at Black Serum. Have worked with both Emma and Anita. The entire process from booking to tattoo was super easy with both. The tattoo shop itself is pristine, with bonus of sweet taxidermy and botanical design elements. And I absolutely love the tattoos both artists designed and inked :)

Everything from the consultation to getting the tattoo was a great experience. Siri is an amazing artist and she did an amazing job on my beautiful tattoo. I highly recommend her along with anyone else in the shop! Great calm atmosphere in the studio helped to make the whole experience even better.

I made an appt with Anita a few months in advance for a spine piece and an arm piece. Both were smaller, delicate pieces but remember all good things take time. I had been looking forward to this session and it of course exceeded my expectations.
My time there was very relaxed with so much art to look at. My friend's that came with have already emailed to schedule sessions with the other artists at Black Serum as well.

I got a tattoo from Cache recently, it was a great experience. Black Serum has a bunch of COVID safety protocols in place, in addition to general good tattoo shop hygiene, so I felt pretty safe getting my piece done. I found Cache's work on Instagram, requested a booking for a custom tattoo through her website, went over details with her over email, and got the tattoo done in about 3 and a half hours, plus or minus a few months due to state- and county-wide COVID restrictions (side note: please be patient when booking with tattoo artists during the pandemic). The tattoo was well worth the wait, Cache's art is incredibly detailed and emotive and I'm so glad to have it on me forever.

First time at Black Serum! My artist was kylin. My overall experience was really amazing. The space of place was very modern, spacious, and welcoming. Plus the team there was very respectful and my tattoo artist was always concerned with my well-being like wow. Plus not only did I get such an amazing piece of art on my right forearm, I made a friend :-)! I definitely will be coming back to get more tattoos from kylin!!!

Black Serum sets the standard for artistry, professionalism, and sophistication in the tattoo industry. I've worked with 4 artists here (Brucius, Anita, Hope, Kylin) and have enjoyed the experience of working with each and every one of these talented individuals. Not only are my final tattoos of the highest calibre of craftsmanship (fine lines all healed perfectly! and the oldest is going on 6 years old), the journey to receiving each one was what an artist-client relationship should be: collaborative, supportive, safe, and respectful.

And the space itself! You really have to see it for yourself. Beautiful high ceilings, plants, whimsical and nature-inspired decor. Anyway, this isn't just a tattoo shop - it feels like something really special. Highly recommend!

Anita is amazing! She's done my first tattoo and my newest one on my ankle. She always makes sure I feel comfortable and her lines a perfection! The music is super calming and the atmosphere is relaxing as well. I will be going back to her without a doubt.

Amazing work from a very professional team. Black Serum is top notch from an artistic and business perspective. I first booked a consult with Brücius where I briefly discussed my concept, made a deposit and booked an appointment about 5 months out. (Worth noting its great to see a tattoo shop that accepts credit cards). The wait was long but definitely worth it.

The day of the appointment we went through a design session my idea was fairly open ended with limited reference materials but Brücius put together an extremely well thought out composition while still remaining conscious of my own opinions and wants as the client.

I've had several tattoos from different artists/shops but the tattoo itself was quick, clean and relatively painless.

Overall the experience, efficiency, talent and professionalism were very impressive and would not hesitate to recommend or return for another tattoo at Black Serum.

Noah noir performed my tattoo and he was amazing. Not only is he a talented artist, but very professional, patient and kind and really worked with me for the exact tattoo I was hoping to create. The place is gorgeous and clean, and taking the COVID precautions very seriously. I will definitely be back as well as recommend anyone I know to Black Serum!
